MINI-ITLR
MINI-ITLR In The Long Run 'In The Long Run' (ITLR) is an initiative that works around the world helping to campaign against human trafficking. We love the freedom and adventure of running, and so we decided use our favourite sport to help others find freedom. Each year we run along human trafficking routes, raising awareness and money for projects that prevent people being sold and help survivors to start a new life. IN THE LONG RUN, HUMAN TRAFFICKING MUST END.
MINI-ITLR A run for everyone Not everyone can spare the time for a long run over many days, but everyone can take part in ITLR. Mini-ITLR allows schools, community and faith groups to organise a short 1km run, walk, cycle or wheel, that is safe, manageable and accessible for all abilities. ITLR medals are awarded to winners, or all participants, depending on the organisations' budget
MINI-ITLR Understanding human trafficking in your community After the run, experts on human trafficking working with ITLR will lead an hour long presentation on human trafficking that is appropriate to the age group and area where the Mini-ITLR is taking place. The conference finishes with a question and answer session. Lesson plans are also available for teachers to use before or after the event.

Raising money There is no fee for the event (unless more medals are required), but we ask that the students raise money for the projects that ITLR supports. This can be done by charging a small contribution for each student to run (for example â‚Ź2/ÂŁ2), or could mean that students do a bake sale, or similar fundraising event.
