We established our first family-owned location in 1963 and today, our passion and purpose remain the same: to provide the highest quality holiday homes and an exceptional customer experience – all in an exceptional location.

We’re committed to making every single stay with us special. And while we can’t claim credit for the natural beauty that surrounds our lodges, we’ve made every effort to capture its essence, from the carefully landscaped gated grounds to the lodges themselves.

Each Gull Rocks Beach lodge is finished with luxurious boutique design touches. Our lodges have multiple bedrooms, a choice of hotel-quality interiors and selected features such as outdoor decking areas, surfboard storage, hot tubs, and private outdoor showers.

Our lodges are all within easy reach of pretty coastal towns, fishing villages, legendary castles and a host of other historical sites, not to mention the spectacular scenery that greets you at every turn.

Positioned on one of the most magnificent walking stretches along the South West Coast Path, you can take a stroll to Polly Joke or head over to Crantock beach, while Holywell Bay – just minutes away – is an excellent surfing beach with its own surf school and lifeguard patrol during the main season.

With so much to discover, you won’t be disappointed. Take the private paths perfectly placed on each tier down to the sandy dunes of Holywell.

Ever wondered where Poldark’s beach scenes were filmed? Right here at Holywell Bay. The raw beauty and golden sands backed by grass tufted dunes – some of which rise up to 60 feet – made the perfect background for the hit BBC show storyline. Holywell Bay has become a beach famously known for featuring in the iconic James Bond Movie, Die Another Day staring Pierce Brosnan and more recently Game of Thrones - House of Dragons.

As well as dramatic adventures both on and off screen, it’s also a beautiful spot for a relaxed beach picnic and the perfect place to watch the sun go down.

If you want to learn a new skill and take to the waves, we have year-round deals and discounts on family surf lessons for both first-time and regular guests, and there are also seasonally stocked ponds onsite for a spot of fishing.

Alternatively, get out and about exploring the miles of Cornish coastal paths right from your lodge’s front door, any time of the year. Take in some of the most stunning coastal views in the world as you discover expansive golden beaches and hidden rocky coves. Find your favourite route for your early morning run, daytime stroll, bike ride, and the best places to watch the sunset or just curl up with a glass of red and a good book in the comfort of your cosy new home from home.

As part of the experience of owning a holiday home, Gull Rocks Beach provides a range of facilities to enjoy, both onsite and nearby.

A highlight is the 18-hole Par 3 golf course with stunning sea views at Holywell Bay Golf – and as a Gull Rocks Beach homeowner, you’ll receive two free memberships for your first year of ownership.

In addition to the main course, there’s also Pitch & Putt and Mini Golf – so all the family can have a go at hitting a hole-in-one!

You’ll receive 2 annual passes for your first year of ownership’ then one free pass every year after.
