Welcome to the Future | Narrative Imagery

The future is inevitable for all of us. For this original piece, i wanted to create a narrative of the future, bringing forward the tones of untouchable and unpredictablity, demonstating the bleak and uncertain path we will go if we do not change the way we shop and treat the environment. This image is chaos, chaos that creates confusion and fear, fear for the future generations to come.

Green is our saviour. This piece of original imagery I created, was primarily to symbolize the state of our word in 2030, and how if we move forward from our past destructive behaviour and personally choose to take care and repay mother nature, our worl in years to come may return to the clean and naive environment it once was. 2030, may it be the year for replenishment and regrowth.

The print will lead us to what’s to come. Within this image, lies the narrative of the digital foot print, it conveys the present presence we obtain in the digital world, however what could come, this is a progressive piece. While I created this image, i found a strong pattern of currency, which as this is a forecast module i tried to stray from, however, i personally belice the key to the future is to look at the past & present, which this image does, it incorporates both the past, present as well as the future.

Freedom. This original imagery was one where i wanted to show thenarrative of freedom, freedom from the past, from the constictions of the considered ‘norm’. This narrative plays around with the notion that freedom can be expressed through garments and the hidden scultpure within them.

Architecture within
a garment is the new form of rebuilding the future. This original imagery brings to life the notion that the foundations for the future do not have to neccassarily be within a constructed building, however, it could be in clothing. Building a new pathway through sustainable brands and campaigns. This image tells a story of exactly that.

Nakedness. That particular word has been a strong one within my
forecast, it creates a aspect of vulnerability in it’s simplicity. From the beginning, i wanted to have a fully transparent forecast, a personal brand. This image portrays this side, the sensitive side, where the topic of how life is fragile comes through, which stresses the previous side of my campaign which is the neccessity of maintaining our world years to come.

Movement is where the progression will continue. This original imagery is one where i really tried to convey different shapes and sizes within the body, keeping the area of expression open and untouched. I found great beauty in the shapes we can create, merely with our own bodies. This was an aspect i brought through into my constructed film and oiginal garment i created.
The Narrative Concluded
