LOGO RATIONALE To update the existing Harry’s logo and freshen up the image of Harry’s bar, we have removed the square border and blue background element of the logo. We have chosen to keep the script font as it gives the logo a certain amount of panache; also the font is known to most of our target audience and commands a large amount of equity. We have also opted to keep the chop element in the logo as it reminds us of the history of Harry’s and its cultural significance The removal of the square border of the logo represents a new chapter in the business. Gone are the restrictions and Harry’s is now closer to our customers and also more flexible and susceptible to improvement. This also makes the logo infinitely easier to implement across various mediums like in-store collaterals and signage. The Harry’s logo now flows better on all platforms and looks both smoother and more comfortable to the eyes.
LOGO VARIATIONS The Harry’s logo should always be used as is whenever possible unless stated otherwise. When used against a white background, the Harry’s logo should be used with a square box with Harry’s blue being the colour of the box.

LOGO COLOUR When reproducing the logo in special or full color, the corporate color palette should always be used. Representation of both the CMYK and PMS color breakdown may vary depending on paper or other stock. The print process used and the aging of printed material. RGB color breakdown should take after the full color logo pantone colour breakdown. Representation of the RGB colors electronically may vary, depending on the display unit. Specifications for color reproduction are provided are provided for printing with PANTONE inks (spot color printing) and for four color process printing (CMYK). For non-traditional reproduction methods such as embroidery and silk-screening, make a visual match to the PANTONE specifications.

MINIMUM CLEAR SPACE To protect the integrity of the Harry’s brand and achieve maximum recognition, it is essential that assisting elements are in contact with the Harry’s logo artwork. By visually imagining a containing box around the artwork, any assisting element should be at least an ‘X’ width away from the logo where ‘X’ is the height of the chop in the logo.

DESIGN RATIONALE The look and feel of the new Harry’s will be one that focuses of simplicity. Every one of our design collaterals will be executed with the Harry’s colour with simple graphic elements incorporated. This will enhance the Harry’s image and remove any unneccesary clutter. We have also chosen to use a simple diamond element across all of our design collaterals. The diamond signifies the quality of Harry’s, be it in service or in their food and beverages. The diamond done in a graphic style also shows that Harry’s although is simple, is not plain and that we strive to give you the highest of quality in the most fundamental of things.
