LOW HYDROGEN TYPE

Characteristics and Applications: LKE-8016-G is a low hydrogen type electrode for 540N/mm2 high tensile steel. The welding can be done in all positions with stable arc, good slag removability. The weld metal contains about 1.5%Ni, therefore it can obtain high impact value of low temperature at -50 ℃. It is suitable for welding of the Aluminum Killed Steel used at LPG storage tanks, ASTM A537C2 steels.

Notes on Usage: 1.Dry the electrodes at 300-350℃ for 60 minutes before use. 2.Do not exceed the proper range of current, otherwise the impact value will decrease. 3.Take the backstep method at the arc starting. 4.Keep the arc as short as possible.
