Layer 1 Components
Firstly, I import the architectural drawing in Rhino in 1:1 scale in the top view and front view according to different contents. From my observation, every layer is consist of the same laminates. I trace one edge in every laminate in their top view or elevation view.

I rebuild the curve to make it more symmetry and use the gumball to move the control points of the curves making it looks more similar to the architectural drawings and the photos.

With the statistic in the architectural drawings, I make a straight box with accurate size and spilt the box into components following by using a command called “Flow along Curve” to make the box flow to the curve I traced in the second step.
Process Image 04 Finally, based on the plan of the pavilion, I rotate and mirror the laminates and also make some sight adjustments according to the photos. I use wooden material in dark colour for the pavilion referring to the photos. The last but also the most important step is to compare the model with the photos, making some slight chages based on the obvesation.
