engine speeds deliver s a smooth r ide , fewer gear changes, less engine wear and better ener gy efficiency. This helps meet the needs of even the most demanding customer s, and makes Eurocar go a new benchmar k in its class. Eurocar go’s diesel engines are turbochar ged Common R a il units with waste-gate , and come in two displacements (4.5-litre 4-cylinder and 6.7- litre 6-cylinder) and seven power ratings (from 160 to 320 HP, with maximum torque of 580 to 1,100 Nm). Peak efficiency is reached with the «Top Power» 4-cylinder, 210 HP engine , with maximum torque of 750 Nm. This represents the ideal solution for a mar ket segment which, under Euro V, was covered by the 6-cylinder, 220 HP engine , and which can now benefit from the lower fuel consumption and lower weight of a 4-cylinder engine without compromising on perfor mance and with an increase in maximum torque . Thanks to the increased torque and power of the new engines, the new Eurocar go Euro VI r ange can handle increased tr ailer weights too. For 8- to 12-tonne ver sions, tr ailer weight r ises from 16,500 kg to 18,000 kg, even with a 6-speed automated gearbox; and for ver sions over 15 tonnes, it increases from 32,500 kg to 35,000 kg.

On board the New Eurocar go Euro VI, the real innovation is IVECO’s technological know-how. The ne w Tector 5 a nd Tector 7 engines have two key strengths at their disposal: flexibility a nd HI-eSCR technolog y. The HI-eSCR catalytic reduction system, covered by an FPT INDUSTRIAL patent, enables Eurocar go to meet Euro VI limits without recour se to EGR (exhaust gas recirculation). This is one of the new features that set Eurocar go apar t from its competitor s: a single emissions abatement system that does not affect the combustion process, does not require an auxiliar y cooling system and does not impose constr aints on vehicle architecture or costs. All of this tr anslates into fuel consumption in line with Euro V, and improved perfor mance compared with the previous-gener ation engines. With Euroca rgo 4x4, strength knows no limits. Designed for the most demanding off-road wor k, Eurocar go 4x4 incor por ates a specific ser ies of solutions for protecting its str ucture: steel bumpers, retr actable access steps and a specific radiator gua rd. Available with a day or sleeper cab with standard roof, it has a gross vehicle weight of 11.5 or 15 tonnes and a r ange of wheelbases measur ing from 3,240 to 4,150 mm. Eurocar go 4x4 mounts a Tector 7 engine in 220 and 250 HP var iants on the 11.5 tonne ver sion, and 250 and 280 HP var iants on the 15 tonne ver sion. The ZF six-speed manual gearboxes are fitted with a servoshift system for easy gear-changing even in the most demanding wor k conditions. Per manent four-wheel dr ive is provided by a longitudinal di fferential, which distr ibutes torque between the front and rear axles. What’s more , yo u can select a fast or slow distr ibutor r atio, according to conditions (on / off road).
All the differentials are
equipped with a manually oper ated locking system to ensure tr action even in especially adver se , low-gr ip conditions. Eurocar go 4x4 is fitted with a double-reduction rear axle and is available in ver sions with sing le or twin wheels. Br aking comes cour tesy of simplex dr um br akes on the rear axle and duplex dr ums up front, while you can specify either par abolic or semi-elliptical leaf spr ing suspension. Eurocar go 4x4 is at home anywhere . The outstandingly low emissions of the engines and the excellent steer ing angle (from 40° to 48° depending on tyres) enable you to use it on urban constr uction sites too.

It ’s clea r at first sight that Euroca rgo is a solid, dyna mic , modern vehicle , with an unmistakeable shape and strong char acter. The front features an imposing g rille equipped with non-slip steps for washing the windscreen, a bumper with built-in light cluster s (grouped together for ease of maintenance) and a lar ge space for your company’s logo above the IVECO badge . The bumper s and mudguards are also available in the same colour as the body. And if you’re buying your vehicle for off-road wor k, you can specify a one-piece steel bumper. Both sides of the sleeper cab feature remote electr ic hatch releases that give access to two illuminated stor age boxes (with total capacity of 260 litres) even from the outside . Cab access is aided by la rge ha ndles and non-slip ste ps for getting in and out easily and without r isk. And six rear-view mir ror s ensure maximum visibility in all directions.

For maximum quality of life on board on ever y job, Eurocar go is available with 3 different types of cab: day, for distr ibution and shor t-haul wor k or when body length is a pr ior ity; slee per with sta nda rd or high roof, for long-ha ul wor k and jobs involving over night stops; double , with room on board for 6 passengers plus driver (ideal for getting wor k-crews to constr uction sites). In all cabs, the heating and ventilation system means you can get the cab temper ature you want, quickly and with optimum air distr ibution. A manually controlled air conditioning system and progr ammable supplementar y heater are also available as options. Eurocar go’s seats feature integr al head-restr aints and seat belts, and are optionally available with air suspension. Upholstered in cloth or imitation leather, they ensure the highest levels of strength and pr acticality.

Designed a round driver comfort. Climb into a Eurocar go cab, and you’ll see that ever ything is clear, simple and in easy reach. The layout of the functions is simple and intuitive , with all the instruments directly in front of the driver, and all the controls in the steer ing wheel area. All the most frequently used buttons are grouped together on the dashboard in the most accessible positions, for maximum safety. The gear stick is built into the compact, linear dashboard, making it quicker and easier to cross from one side of the cab to the other (essential for urban wor k). The power take-offs are managed by an ECU (Expansion Module), which is oper ated electr ically by the dr iver by means of a dash-mounted switch.

The sleeper cab is equipped with 1 or 2 bunks (an extr a-size single bunk is available as an option) and can be fitted with a fr idge or insulated cool-box. On day-cab ver sions with double passenger seat, the centr al back-rest can be folded completely flat to provide a table with cup-holder and cubby hole . The sleeping area features an adjustable lamp and a “bed module�, for controlling the lighting and climate control, and opening and closing the door s, win dows and skylight directly from the bunk.
