H I - R E L I A B I L I T Y EUROTRONIC AUTOMATED TRANSMISSION The NEW TRAKKER offer s all the technological excellence of Eurotronic a utomated tra nsmissions (standard on all models), which enhance dr iver comfor t with their steer ingcolumn-mounted shift lever. They offer fully automatic and semiautomatic modes: you choose which is best for the situation you’re in. With Eurotronic , the engine always r uns in its most fuel-efficient r ange , making the vehicle better a nd sa fer to drive . MANUAL TRANSMISSION The gearboxes on the NEW TRAKKER are all about er gonomics and perfor mance . The manual gearbox comes in 9- and 16-speed var iants. The innovative 16-speed ZF Ecosplit 4 is equipped with a servo-shift system for safer, more comfor table dr iving, thanks to quicker, more precise gear changes. The decompression engine br ake on the Cur sor engines, combined with the action of the va ria ble-geometry or waste-g ate turbo, depending on engine var iant, enables you to slow the vehicle down with less recour se to the ser vice br ake and hence less demand on the wear par ts, thus extending maintenance inter vals. Vehicles without all-wheel dr ive have disc br akes up front, electronically controlled by ABS a nd EBL systems (for optimising br ake fo rce according to load), and ASR (anti-slip regulation) as an option. The suspension systems are also highly robust and come in sever al types: mecha nical with pa ra bolic or semi-elliptical lea f springs or a ir suspension for enhanced comfor t on 3- and 4-axle models. ROBUST FRAMES The fr ames of the NEW TRAKKER are made of high-yield-strength steel, available in two thicknesses: 7.7 mm for applications where tare weight is a pr ior ity, and 10 mm for the heaviest duty.

With the NEW TRAKKER, good looks are par t of the package , but they’re not just skin-deep, because for m always follows function. The front features a new centr al gr ille , and redesigned bumper, lar ge light cluster s complete with headlamp protection guards, and a lar ge space in the most visible area immediately below the windscreen, for the customer’s name . The off-side and near-side door mir ror s, combined with kerb mir ror s and front blind-spot mir ror s, ensure optimum visibility even in the most extreme manoeuvres. Optional built-in fog la mps mean you can keep wor king even in extreme weather : when it’s your job to tackle the impossible , more visibility means more safety. And to tackle the most broken ter r ain with confidence , the NEW TRAKKER can be equipped with a radiator shield. A step at the bottom of the bumper and two gr ab-handles built into the gr ille make light wor k of cleaning the windscreen.

The efficient air conditioning system and the sound-proofing of the cab ensure top quality of life on board, even in the most adver se conditions. The NEW TRAKKER is available with three ca b versions: day cab (HI-LAND) with standard roof, and sleeper cab (HI-TRACK ) with standard or high roof. And even the shor t cab ver sion offer s plenty of space behind the dr iver’s seat. All the cabs feature the functional and er gonomic ne w dashboa rd, made with top-quality, non-reflective , soft-touch mater ials. The controls have been re-positioned around the dashboard and centr al area, to make them easily visible and accessible without r aising your back from the seat. The new floor is covered with wear-resistant, easy-to-clean mater ial. The layout of the inter ior offer s outstanding pr acticality: the overhead windscreen stor age has plenty of compar tments, and you’ll find other pockets in the door s. To make life on board even easier, the NEW TRAKKER can be equipped with IVECONNECT, the exclusive , revolutionar y system for simple , integr ated control of infotainment, navigation, dr iver aids and fleet ma na gement services. Thanks to the effor ts and resources Iveco dedicates to the study and application of new tec hnologies, it offer s innovative solutions that reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact: that’s why all the Cursor engines a re EEV-a pproved, and even more efficient and environmentally-fr iendly than nor mal Euro 5 units. The NEW TRAKKER uses SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction) for the after-treatment of exhaust gases. Selective Catalytic Reduction involves the use of high-efficiency engines, a SCR catalyst built into the silencer and a dedicated tank for the additive AdBlue that’s injected upstream of the SCR catalyst by means of an electronic meter ing system. SCR technolog y is designed to last the entire life of the vehicle , reducing emissions, requir ing minimal ma intena nce helping increase your vehicle’s productivity. In shor t, you get lower emissions and lower fuel consumption. The system deliver s more power and torque for the same displacement. This means less weight, lower fuel consumption due to increased injec tion pressure , lower ener gy absor ption for heat disper sal, fewer oil changes and longer maintenance inter vals.
