LOCATION OF THE SITE
ADELAIDE SOUTH AUSTRALIA
THE JUNCTION OF WEST BEACH AND HENLEY BEACH SOUTH River Torrens breakout creek - St Vincent Gulf Target is located in Adelaide, South Australia. It is the junction of west beach and henley beach south. It is also where the River Torrens breakout creek merges into the St Vincent Gulf. The landforms, water resources and species are rich here, and it is a place worthy of in-depth study. 01

Use Couldcompare to split the model of the site into seven layers. Among them, it can be seen from the Buildings layer that the density of buildings (for example, the density of buildings on the right is higher than that on the left, etc.); And in the two layers of Tree canopy, it can be analyzed that the density of trees in the area is medium. —— High, and the density on both sides of the river torrens is the highest. And 70% of the trees are higher than three meters. Sand has a very high coverage rate, which may be due to its location by the sea. In the river layer, it can be clearly seen that River Torrens breakout creek is imported into St Vincent Gulf from here.

The erosion south of West Beach and Henry Beach has had many effects. The sand dunes immediately retreated many meters north of the ship port. The sand moves northward due to wind and wave activity.

TERRAIN ANALYSIS & 3D MODEL
From the intercepted line segment, it can be clearly seen that a part of the line segment is in a concave state, which is the River Torrens.
It can also be analyzed from the colour in the line segment that the vegetation coverage in this area is medium. The building density near the beach is higher than other places.
In the 3D model, I focused on intercepting the junction of Henley Beach South and West Beach, where the River Torrens breakout creek flows into the St Vincent Gulf.
