The 145 international brokerages operating some 1,200 offices around the globe under the famed Christie's flag, are collectively considered the world's finest practitioners of luxury real estate marketing. CHARLOTTE LUXURY MARKET REPORT: 1ST QUARTER 2018 Charlotte's luxury market saw a comparable start to that of 2017 this spring, while sold results in the midluxury segment below $1 M in value were fairly flat up to about $1.5 M in value. The ultra luxury segment saw a surge in pending contracts near the end of March in both the SouthPark and near town areas of Myers Park and Eastover.

Total showings and average showings per home increased about 3% in the $500 - $999 K range this spring over last spring. The range just above $1 M also saw an increase in showing activity over last spring of roughly 5%.

LAKE NORMAN LUXURY MARKET REPORT: 1ST QUARTER 2018 Lake Norman's luxury segment saw a solid albeit quirky start to 2018. The mid-level luxury segment between $500 - $999 K saw an initial decline in sold units, from 143 to 114, then jumped to 162 pending contracts in April on very strong showing activity. The range above $1 M saw similar activity to the start of 2017 (which ended up recording a 10-year high in sell-thru volume). The $2 M+ range also

saw a spike in pending contracts as inventory this range, which had been fairly high, begins to come down into more balanced buyer/seller conditions. Days on market stats tend to be somewhat deceiving in the upper ranges as the combination of seller staying power and a finite pool of buyers tend to yield a longer sales cycle.
