WHO AM I? I am a recent graduate in industrial design and am looking for a job or internship. I am dedicated and perfectionist, lover of product development and willing to learn and create new experiences of products. I think the industrial design is a very fascinating area due to the link between the product and the person or problem to solution. The way to build products that directly affect people’s lives, using methodologies, step by step in order to create coherent solutions is rewarding.
EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA My first training in equipment design ran from 2006 to 2009 in high school Alcaides de Faria. In 2009 I participated in a professional internship in partnership with the school in the company of furniture, MIG, lda, in Braga / Portugal. Tasks: Preparation of technical drawings, design and decoration of spaces, preparation of layouts and presentations for clients. In 2010 I began a degree in industrial design at the Polytechnic Institute of Cรกvado and Ave. During this training I learned to design solid projects, met new software work, improved my skills of sketching and absorbed new research methods. Participations: During my degree I participated in several lectures, I was also a speaker at project presentations elapsed in design exhibitions. I was invited to give presentations of my work in some high schools.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent adaptation to teamwork. I am able to adapt methodologies to match effectively the proposed briefing. Dynamic to create big brainstorming’s, research capacity and seeking solutions. I find it easy to introduce projectual drawings and elaborate concepts of ideas. Able to create methods of investigation and observation of different people. High ability to create stories with the products and produce way to obtain information from the public about the viability of the concept ideas. Knowledge of different ways to develop models and prototypes. Good response time to finalize ideas and produce solid project proposals. Perfectionist and balanced when I start the preparation of final products for testing and their corrections until the final validation. Able to assign value to the product and build a good base segmentation and evolution path of the product. Some knowledge of manufacturing processes and also of various construction materials.  High ability to create project presentations.

Creating a home for bees “Apiary� required a strong field presence and knowledge about beekeeping. All were engaging were investigated, since the functioning of the animals in question, and also the types of environment around. Focused to extract good amounts of honey and propolis adapted to different terrain and low cost price.

This product is designed piece by piece, given the type of hive structures and their geometric constraints. The interior was prepared to extract honey cleanly, and collect propolis so due accumulating the highest percentage on the bases of accumulation “traps�.

The ethnographic analysis in this project was very important and crucial to the development of this project. The research of this project demonstrates that propolis may be a good source of income.

With the knowledge of the extraction of honey and propolis process, it was possible to build a product that facilitates the handling and use of the parts. Various types of operating manuals were designed.

The brief of this project was to develop a display using an existing screen. The idea was to build a working tool for all areas around the restaurant, bar or coffee shop. The experience would get a more personalized, fast and efficient service to the public.

The majority of this work was to focus on the internal arrangement of components in order to develop a small and lightweight product. The concern for creating a structure with few parts was very important, required enough dimensional corrections and experimentation with electronic components.

This product would facilitate direct customer service, was prepared to be used with software restoration, and be working with accessories or other components. Has been simplified for easy construction, maintains its structure with only four screws.

I have a few more projects less depth, to the nearest other areas such as furniture, toys and footwear. The idea was to convey multidisciplinary and tastes that have to interact with other areas. I notice that I have a strong graphic component, allows me to have also like to elaborate brainstorming, storytellings, interaction dossiers, marketing segmentation and good initial presentations. I love all phases of the design of a product.
