ZARATE Zarate is a residential housing building of 4500 m2 designed to meet the needs of future residents, who have the freedom to choose between different types of units. The basic structure of a grid and the way in which it was decided to locate the project facilities allow the one who acquires a unit to choose to buy one module(B), wich result in a one bedroom unit, or two modules(D), two bedrooms unit. This decision gives the freedom to the developer company of selling exactly the type of units that the market is demanding at the time. From the first to the seventh floor the configuration of units is formed by non-variable unitson the sides(A and C) and the option of one or two bedrooms units in the center of the building. HUDSON In 2014 I was called to join a Real Estate development which was going to be set up at in Tigre, North of Buenos Aires Metropolitan area. The plot land where the building is located is surrounded by a degraded port area, reason why, the importance of an urban posture that help the block where it will be situated to improve in a better quality of edification and also add new open space areas that make the life of the neighbors of the project itself and of the rest of the block better. After a study of the urban regulations of the neighbourhood, we decided to propose a different and better solution to give to the port area a continuous building facade to the streets and a big open space area in the centre of the irregular block where it is situated. Understanding the four main aspects of the Delta constructions in Buenos Aires, the building also is respecting the identity of the particular area where it is located.

Year 2015

DISTRICT In 2015 I was convocated by Architect Juan Caputo to join the design team at his firm “Luongo Caputo Architects. My first assignment was to co- design with him and with the Architect Juan Manuel Galtieri offices building at the new Technological District of Buenos Aires City. The architecture project was complex, an old wheat factory heritage reconditioned to be a modern offices building. We had the intention from the beginning of conserving the most possible of the actual structure to maintain the strong identity of the neighborhood it is placed, industrial since his foundation, connected with the history of the southern port areas of the City but also we wanted to interpret the new changes in the area. Somehow look to the future without forgetting the past. As a team, we were interested in ISO certification also and that is why we decided to conserve the most of the old factory It was possible, to restore the original brick facade and to use as an icon for the new project the old factory chimney, this points were the main subjects to contemplate at the moment of taking any project desition. We wanted to create an iconic building to the neighborhood but also a building connected with it at the same time.

BARRACAS At the first semester of 2009 out to deliver by Explora´s Chair of Architecture Level II. The building is located in Barracas neighborhood, the southern area of Buenos Aires city. The neighborhood itself was the center of English railways companies in Argentina during XIX and beginning of the XX Century. During that period, workers lived all together in residential buildings built by these companies. The identity of the neighborhood at the moment and now comes through community reunion, not only in public areas but also on the streets and buildings blocks by themselves. Today the area is being completely renewed with the opening of the Metropolitan Center of Design who also brought interest to real state inversion and to the government to build residential buildings destinated to social housing to the middle class. Barracas building is designed giving special importance to community reunion, it gives to the neighborhood a public ground floor whit a flower market, restaurants and also a public gymnasium with a football court. The residential area contains (A) 12 studio partments, (B) 12 one bedroom apartments and (C) 12 two bedrooms apartmens.

NREL The Renewable Energy Laboratory(NREL) is located in the National Reserve of the City of Aguas Verdes, sea front of Buenos Aires province. At the second semester of 2013 sets out to deliver by Moscato´s Chair of Architecture Planning(Architecture V). NREL 7500 m2 program stems from the relationship between three independent buildings: Home for scientist and engineer building, laboratories building and a public building that contains an area open to the community with offices, an auditory, and a research library. The separation of this three different functions creates an intermediate space of “collective activities”. The three different buildings set up together by a “double skin” or “green facade” that also protects it from the particular weather of the location it is placed. Within this design desition, LNER is created as a building made up of small stacked elements that allow relating the three different and also opposite functions of the program.
