Summary: Works under the general direction of the Machine Shop Supervisor and daily direction of a Cell Leader with limited supervision.            

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sets up, operates and edits program files for computer numerical control machinery such as vertical, horizontal and turning centers, conventional and special-purpose machinery and machining centers to make metal parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Perform series of machining operations, such as: turning, boring, threading and facing on sheet metal pieces on castings, forgings, bar and plate stock. Interprets complicated blueprints, sketches, specifications, geometrical dimensions and tolerances. Solves problems relative to work-holding arrangement, unusual materials, machine setting, tools, product specifications and fabrication methods for production process. Determines product specifications, sequence of operations, number of cuts required, cutting speeds, feed rates, cutting tools, and method of setup. Selects, mounts, and aligns various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling. Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides. Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors, such as rotation, speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Uses a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Perform first piece OAP inspection and verifies quality in accordance with SOP. Follows all safety regulations and exercises care in handling parts and operating machinery. Participates in cell or fabrication projects and assist with process improvements, methods, solutions and procedures to enhance program quality, cost and scheduling. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a 2-year technical college education. 2. High school diploma or GED Required. 3. Use of advanced trades mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, hand formulas; all variety of precision measuring instruments, NC/CNC equipment programs, multi-machine work station, personal computer and specific software application programs of a technical nature involving a thorough technical skills knowledge plus the application of basic theory.

Work under the direction of the Manager, Materials with a minimum of supervision to perform a variety of material handling, shipping and receiving, packaging activities. Coordinate workflow and monitor activities for one of more work centers in support of manufacturing and fabrication schedules.     

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with cell leaders to monitor work centers utilizing work center dispatch reports, cell tact time analysis, and related material to ensure on-time start dates and completions. Maintain effective liaison with other Materials functions, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling and Manufacturing as well as all operations support departments to in order understand and comply with schedule requirements. Select specific components as indicated on work orders, make adjustments in database as necessary to maintain component trace ability, and inventory accuracy. Perform cycle counts, ensuring 95% accuracy levels are maintained per policy and procedure. Load and unload various types of freight from incoming shipments. Receive and store incoming materials as required, ensuring database accuracy on quantity, lot numbers, expiration dates and any other pertinent information that may apply to associated paperwork (e.g. work orders, packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) Prepare items for shipment; validate identifying information, count, weight, size and labels, as required. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid state driver’s license in order to drive company vehicles. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of a specialized field such as production control and inventory control. Requires working knowledge of personal computers and associated word processing and spreadsheet software. Good oral and communication skills needed. Equivalent to high school education plus additional broad specialized training. 1 to 3 years of production control or inventory control experience, to qualify. Performs multiple fabrication tasks in assigned team, project or functional area. Tasks will be performed within full-scale production manufacturing operation and will include tasks such as routine and repetitive fabrication, mechanical assembly, and quality assurance processes following established methods, policies and procedures.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works from production schedules, work orders, drawings, and blueprints, written or verbal instructions. Performs various tasks with limited complexity involving familiarity and use of equipment such as general and electric hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Maintains a high degree of accuracy and integrity while working to close tolerance levels of +/- .010 to .030. Participates in cell or fabrication projects and assists with process improvement methods, solutions and procedures to enhance program quality, cost and scheduling. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. High school diploma or GED Required. 2. Over 3 months up to and including 12 months. 3. The Technical Assistance Center Analyst is an IT professional with system administration/ customer service skills applicable to an Enterprise Data Center experience. Server exposure or familiarity with (Windows 2003‐2008‐2012, ESX, Linux, VCenter) is required. Exposure or familiarity with hardware and concepts for SAN storage, network, and hosted or supported application interactions are required. The TAC Analyst will monitor, receive incidents and actions from multiple sources, capture, remediate or transfer to higher tier support, documenting the health, performance and status of the Enterprise Data Center. The work is performed on a three shift basis and is addressed in a 24/7 model for support. Security + CompTIA certificate is required or quickly obtained. A minimum Secret Clearance is required or quickly cleared.
