Definition: Entrepreneurship is the journey of starting, managing, and scaling a business. It’s about seizing opportunities, taking risks & creating value through innovative ideas.

Importance: Entrepreneurship empowers people to shape their own futures, creates jobs helping to drive economic growth, & stimulates innovation whilst also addressing community needs.

Janelle created the “Helping Hands App” to connect students with community service opportunities and so proving that innovation knows no age.
Chivon John – She’s The Change: Chivon empowers women through coaching and mentorship, showing us how to lift each other up.
Emily Mills – How She Hustles: Emily founded “How She Hustles” which is a network that brings diverse women together to share stories and support each other’s journeys.
Warren Salmon – Black Excellence Podcast: Warren hosts the “Black Excellence Podcast” which celebrates Black achievement and inspiring us to amplify our voices. Your ideas can spark change and your voice matters!
SUCCESS STORIES OF TEENAGE ENTREPRENEURS
Asia Newson – Super Business Girl: Asia started her candle-making business at age 5. She sells candles through her company, Super Business Girl, and inspires others with her entrepreneurial spirit.
Maya Penn – Maya’s Ideas: Maya started her ecofriendly fashion line, "Maya's Ideas," at just 8 years old. She designs and sells clothing made from sustainable materials, advocating for environmental awareness.
Isabella Rose Taylor – Isabella Rose Taylor:
Isabella began her fashion line at age 12, showcasing her unique designs at New York Fashion Week. She combines art and fashion to create clothing that empowers young women.
Mikaila Ulmer – Me & the Bees Lemonade:
Mikaila launched her business at age 4, using her grandmother's recipe to create a lemonade sweetened with honey. She promotes environmental stewardship and supports bee conservation.
