When it comes to our community, you canâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t help but want to give back because as a people we have gone through so much we need to stick to together. We need to support each other. These days there are moreblack-owned businesses growing every day. Some we may never even heard of. We want to highlight the owners who strive to help their black communities. So here are four business owners who are giving back to their communities.

Courtney Adeleye (CEO of The Mane Choice) Adeleye is a girl boss who grew her business from the floor up. She started off by documenting her hair journey on youtube where she created her own hair mixes. Her background as a registered nurse, along with her scientific knowledge, led Adeleye to create The Mane Choice Hair Solution. As a way of giving back to her community, she sells researched-based hair care products and vitamins that promote healthy black hair.

Hope Wiseman (Founder of Mary and Main) Maryland local, Hope Wiseman is the youngest black female entrepreneur to own a dispensary in the U.S. Her mission is to serve her community through cannabis education. Her company gives people of Maryland a safe space for those suffering from chronic illnesses to purchase medical marijuana, as well as help spread awareness of how beneficial the plant is when it comes to healing various ailments such as seizures, anxiety, inflammatory problems, and other physical and mental issues. Wiseman hopes to help eliminate the stigma around African Americans when it comes to cannabis.

Carla Watkins (Owner of Yoga Green Book) With holistic and wellness spaces starting to welcome more spaces of color, there are more entrepreneurs entering this space. Watkins is one of them. Her company, Yoga Green Book, is an online safe space for African Americans to practice yoga and meditation. Because black people are 20% more likely to suffer from psychological disorders than their white counterparts due to racism and prejudice. By using holistic practices, Watkins dedicates her time and effort to ensure her community becomes empowered to live happier lives scent to have near you.

Asia Newson (Owner of Super Business Girl) Another scent to help you chillax is chamomile. Chamomile is known for its ability to help improve sleep conditions, alleviate anxiety, and reduce inflammation. This is a delicious flavor to have as tea. Drink a cup of this stuff and you will notice just how amazing you feel afterward.

Introducing new traditions could add an element of excitement that will make this holiday season one to remember! Kick Things Off With A Holiday Lights Photo Shoot When it comes to holiday decorations, nothing beats an amazing light display. This year, gather the family and go see the lights around your area, or pick a totally different area to explore. But, at each house, have a photo shoot! It will be so much fun seeing these holiday productions, and even being a part of the displays will make the experience even more memorable. Get Your Gourmet On Traditional foods can be delicious during the holiday season. But, why not add a little bit of intrigue into your holiday fare? Start a new tradition of requesting that everyone bring one gourmet item to your gathering. Donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t limit things to prepared dishes. Encourage people to search out new, gourmet treats and

Your home baked goods will mean the world to those who are less fortunate, and will be a reminder for your family to appreciate what they have. Can I change my size preference for future boxes? Yes, you can do so inside your Brown Sugar Box account on izzyandliv.com, or you can email us at support@izzyandliv.com to update your preferences for you.

When will I be billed for next month’s box? You will be rebilled on the 1st of the month for the next box. So you will be billed for the November box on the 1st of November; for the November box on the 1st of December and so on... You will not be billed for the next box until after the box from the current month has been shipped/ delivered.

What is your cancellation policy? Your subscription can be canceled at any time in your Brown Sugar Box Account Settings at izzyandliv.com. If you’ve already been billed for the next box (1st of the month), your cancellation will take affect the next billing cycle. To cancel your subscription, login to your account and click on the Subscription tab, then click “edit” next to your subscription. You can also email us to request that we cancel for you.

Can I exchange or return items in my box? We cannot accept returns at this time for Brown Sugar Box items, but we welcome your feedback to improve. Email us at support@ izzyandliv.com to share your thoughts. We value your feedback and our mission is to make every Brown Sugar Box more than worth your while! Your feedback will help us to make sure we make this box amazing and as valuable as it can be. As far as the item(s), you can always gift them to a friend, coworker, or family member- these items make GREAT gifts!

Can I skip a month without canceling? Yes, you can skip a future month delivery and not be billed for it, without having to cancel your entire subscription. Once logged into your Brown Sugar Box account at izzyandliv. com, you will need to open the “Delivery Schedule” tab. There you will see all upcoming deliveries for your subscription. To skip a delivery, you just need to click “Skip” to the right of each relevant delivery. This will only skip that one delivery. To skip multiple deliveries you will need to click “Skip” next to each relevant one. Alternatively, you can email to have us skip deliveries for you.

How can I share photos or unboxing videos with you? Yes! We live for customer feedback & reviews! Just post your pics or video on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. and hashtag #brownsugarbox, #izzyandliv and @izzyandliv. You can also leave a photo review on the Brown Sugar Subscription page! If you make a blog post, email us with the link. If your social media is private we will not be able to see your post, so feel free to email us to let us know where to check it out!

Something went wrong with my order/ delivery what should I do? Should you have an issue with your box items (damaged, received wrong size, etc) you must notify us at support@izzyandliv. com, with photo(s), within 7 days of receipt of your package. After 7 days, we will not be able to process requests related to this month’s box. If your box was returned due to consumer error, please reach out to customer service for reshipment at an additional cost.
