However, it is not restricted to just involving physical harm. As pychological harm can also consitute as animal abuse, involving: distress, torment or terror.

LEAVES

.Disturbingly, there are often cases of animals being beaten, burned, poisoned or stabbed to death - with dogs sadly being the most popular victim to abuse in the UK. Additionally, abuse can be the result of people using animals as tools for commercial benefit, like: puppy mills, dog fighting, cock fighting and illegal slaughter houses.

HOLES

. Here are some countries thats are considered to be the most abusive towards animals: Japan, Australia, China, Spain, Egypt, Venezuela, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and the Netherlands. Although, the UK isn’t on this list, there are still alarming amounts of animal abuse taken place each year, with the RSPCA recieving 1,037,435 phone calls in 2016. However, less that 8% of animal abusers convicted under the Animal Welfare Act recieve a prision sentence; often just recieveing a measly fine.

You wouldn’t turn your head to human abuse, so why do it to animal abuse? There are many signs of animal abuse, these include: poor body condition, lack of food or water, lack of shelter, lack of sanitation, abardoned, if the animal is caged or tied, if it is chained, if there is evidence the animal was trained/used to fight, anti-normal behaviour, too many animals living in one palce, and if the owner is overtly violent towards the animal. If you see an animal in any of the situations above, don’t just stand by or assume someone else will take care of it. As its up to you to give abused animals a voice. Here are some ways you can help: gathering evidence, re-searching local animal protection companies, reporting animal abuse, confrount the person (maybe looking for backup as well) and be prepared to apear in court. There are also general ways to help stop global animal abuse like: using cruety free products, try reducing your meat intake, reduce your animal made products, donating to anti-animal cruety charities or working in shelters. a il idebis dolupta temquiam, sequia apele-
