“Film is dead.” That’s what people say these days, isn’t it? The amount of technology we’ve been introduced to in the past few years alone is astonishing — it seems like technology is the answer to everything! In the world of photography, film can evoke emotions and reactions in an authentic and palpable way that digital sometimes cannot. Film, although time-consuming, produces results that digital photography can imitate, but never entirely get right. It’s so easy these days to try to copy the look and feel of film, but can digital ever truly capture its beauty and essence?
