This photoshoot I did with my sister was a fun way to kind of see how I wanted things to work for my inspired by After Laughter photoseries. However, a concern for me was I had no idea how to showcase it. Simply posting the pictures with lyrics did not seem like enough for me.

When I learned more about zines, I knew this was the perfect way to show off this project that will be so dear to me.

However, this process has also been the embodiment of “Hard Times.”

From trying to envision how I want the zine to look (I am still not even there yet.

This is just a pity first attempt), to procrastinating super hard on doing the Rose Colored Boy shoot (we still haven’t done it yet. I know what I want done for it but I just cannot execute it).

My creative process is so long and tiring.

I’ll get so inspired when I should either be asleep or working. But when I actually have time to sit and work on my art, nothing comes out.

That’s one thing this whole album has meant to me. Finding the inspiration in an otherwise uninspiring void.
