You can also get to Boseong from Busan or Masan. There are two buses departing from Masan Bus Terminal that go directly to Boseong (보성). One leaves at 14:00, the other at 16:30. The trip will last about two and a half hours.
Boseong Green Tea South Korea's most famous green tea gardens are located in Boseong County. Boseong County is Korea's largest tea producing area. Tea produced in Boseong County is still active in the cultivation of tea plants, representing 40 percent of the nation's tea production. Boseong is known as the green tea capital of Korea. aroma. Nearly a third of all tea farmland is found in Boseong, and nearly half of all green tea production in Korea comes from the area. Green tea has been produced in Boseong for the past 1600 years. Mount Hwangseong presents the largest Plantation of Boseong, the Daehan Green Tea Plantation. This plantation is responsible for more than a third of all tea production in the area. The mountainside features a terrace design that stretches along the lower stretches of the mountain and is carefully maintained, providing a breathtaking view when viewed from the top. This view is accessible by road and has become a famous stop for tourists. The Boseong Fragrance Tea Festival is also organized in May each year and 2013 will mark the 38th year of the festival. The festival offers tea enthusiasts the chance to pick tea leaves, make tea bowls or try the local green tea-flavored cuisine. Boseong Green Tea passed the strict quality inspection of the Russian Medical Biology Laboratory and was officially recognized as a suitable drink for an astronaut's special diet.
DAEHAN DAWON TOURIST TEA PLANTATION Daehan Dawon,the oldest and largest tea garden in southern Boseong County, was born in 1937,when Japanese colonizers planted the first green tea trees. Soil, humidity, and temperature an among other factors became a perfect place for tea cultivation. This plantation was officially inaugural in 1957, it is the only tourist tea plantation in Korea. The 5,000,000th plantation m2 has an exceptional landscape with a beautiful cedar forest stretching from the entrance. The plantation was first made known to the public by a commercial from a Korean telecommunications company and then gained popularity as a film and commercial filming site.

To date, tea fields have approximately 5.8 million plants that are often considered to be the best variety Korea can have, for its excellent taste and aroma.
What do we find in the Daehan Dawon camps? The cedar path, perhaps the most notable attraction of the site. There are resting areas, where visitors can choose to climb the staircase to reach the central observatory, which dominates the plantation's majestic green tea landscapes.
