GOAL The development department has done it again. They have developed a complete exhaust system in a 4-2-1 configuration which considerably increases both the power and torque of the engine at standard engine settings in comparison to the original exhaust. With the new Barracuda exhaust system the power curve is smoother, without any major oscillations, and from 4500 to 7300 rpm, where the motor achieves its maximum power with our exhaust system, it is much higher than with the stock exhaust, an unbelievable 17HP (12.5kW). A comparison of the two power curves speaks volumes in favor of the Sport Production system, which was developed by the same team of people who make exhaust systems for the most prestigious factory teams for the SUPERBIKE and SuperSport world championships. We have been an indispensable partner to most of the factory teams in the development of exhaust systems for a number of years. This constant contact with the very cream of the racing elite keeps us in constant development, which allows us to offer a superior product to our customers. The distinctive look, noticeably higher power and torque and of course the trademark sound make the perfect package which Barracuda customers know to appreciate. TECHNICAL DATA
CONFIGURATION The SLIP-ON system is an exhaust system configuration made of two main parts: a muffler and a link-pipe. The link pipe connects to the stock header assembly. It is cylindrical and made of high-quality stainless steel. It is connected to both the header assembly and the muffler with sleeve joint connections held together with Hi-Perf tensioning springs. In addition to the springs, a metal clamp, which is included in the Barracuda SLIP-ON kit, is used to attach the link pipe to the header assembly. The muffler for the SLIP-ON system is the familiar Barracuda oval or round. In order to satisfy our customers‘ aesthetic demands, we offer two versions of the outer sleeve in round or oval. You can order either the black cross-hatched pattern of carbon-fiber or the metallic sheen of aluminum. No matter what your choice is, it will affect only the appearance of the exhaust system, while the performance of both options is identical. The metal parts on the interior of the muffler are made of stainless, which keeps the weight to a minimum. The muffler is attached to the stock chassis hanging bracket with the renowned Barracuda stainless clamp.

Thus, only the stock muffler is replaced, while the header assembly from the stock exhaust system remains unchanged. It is intended for the customer who does not wish to make major mechanical alterations to the bike itself, but chiefly desires an improved aesthetic effect. The Barracuda BOLT-ON system is the perfect choice for such customers! In addition to a noticeable change in the exterior appearance of the bike, you get the characteristic lowered sound, lighter weight and improved power and torque curves in comparison to the restrictive stock muffler. The rest of the stock system remains untouched. The system is developed and fine-tuned for each specific model of motorcycle, and is the last step before a serious tune-up involving the replacement of the entire exhaust system. The SLIP-ON system is not designed for extreme high performance, but is intended for the customer to whom aural and visual enhancement is more important than setting the quickest lap times. This system produces a much richer and deeper sound than the quite restrictive stock exhaust. The SLIP-ON system will give your bike a completely new aesthetic effect. The oval-section muffler, available in either titanium or carbon-fiber outer sleeve, will accentuate the beauty of the lines of your bike, and the logo on the muffler will be a constant affirmation of your discerning taste. Of course performance has not been forgotten. Your motor‘s potentials will be awakened; the designs for this system come from the same department which designs the racing versions of Barracuda exhaust systems.
