FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Scott Dille Are you ready for some Bronco Football? I am greatly anticipating another great Bronco Football season! After the success of the last 2 years, this year’s edition of the Bronco’s looks to be better than ever! Coach Hall and our football staff have worked diligently to prepare our athletes for another great season, and I look forward to watching them compete for a TRAC title and possible third straight Valley Title! On behalf of the students and staff at the Clovis North Educational Center, we would like to thank those students, coaches, and football boosters who work so hard to make football a great experience for our community. As you browse through the pages of this program you will notice several individuals and groups who “together” make CNEC a great place to go to school. As principal, I have enjoyed watching the incredible achievements of our student body in scholastic endeavors, athletics, the performing arts, and other school sponsored clubs and activities. I am so proud of the effort our students make each day in and out of the classroom. And to our CNEC staff…. You are absolutely the best! So much of the credit for these top notch programs goes to your dedication and ability to earnestly develop our students’ qualities of scholarship, character, and participation. I would also like to acknowledge our terrific CNEC parents who support and hold their students to such high expectations. Thank you for the tremendous amount of time, talents, and treasures you share. Your dedication to our school community ensures the success of so many of our activities here at CNEC. As you sit back and watch the collective efforts of our players and coaches, please remember to support them, our opponent, and the officials in the most positive way possible. The “Bronco Family” has been, and will continue to be, a shining example of what high school athletics represent.

Go Broncos!!

FROM THE CN Athletic Director

Eric Swain

We would like to welcome you to another exciting season of Bronco Football. Our varsity team is coming off another VALLEY CHAMPIONSHIP YEAR! The second section championship in a row! It was also the first time a football team from Clovis Unified played for a southern section championship. What an amazing ride Coach Hall and our varsity boys took us on this past year. As usual our schedule is loaded with some of the best teams in the state. Our Bronco Squad is ready for the challenge. An exciting preseason schedule includes trips to nationally ranked St. John Bosco, and Frontier of Bakersfield. Atascadero, Buhach Colony, and Merced will come to Bronco Territory as well in the preseason. As usual the TRAC will be extremely competitive, but the Broncos are definitely up for the challenge. Our team has put in countless hours in the weight room and on the field over this past spring and summer to prepare for this season. Thank you to Coach Hall and the football staff for all of the hours you put in, thank you to our quarterback club and parent volunteers for all the hard work you put in behind the scenes, and thank you to our student body for being so supportive! Our athletes, parents, and fans are definitely BRONCO STRONG!

Eric Swain, Clovis North Athletic Director

FROM THE GR Athletic Director

Rob Streeter

Welcome to the 2013 football season! We are extremely excited about upcoming season. Head coaches Benny Martinez, Doug Gong and their staffs are working hard with our young studentathletes to bring home our first CIAL football championships. We know that Bronco Football wouldn’t be successful without the significant dedication and commitment demonstrated by our extraordinary coaching staff, their families, our fans and our community to make this a championship season! I’d like to thank the quarterback club and all of our parent volunteers for all their hard work. In our “pursuit of victory with honor” we strongly urge our Bronco community to exhibit positive support for all our athletes, coaches as well as the opposing teams and officials. The experience and lessons learned by our student-athletes through their participation in athletics is something our young athletes will carry with them through their lives. Let’s continue to show the rest of the league that we do things the right way because we are BRONCO STRONG!

FROM THE Head Coach

Cory Hall “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. -Vince Lombardi We welcome you to our 2013 Bronco Football season! Whether an incoming seventh grader or a graduating senior on our varsity team, our vision is not only to develop championship football teams but also young men of excellent character. We strive to teach them to work hard on the field and in the classroom, to persevere, and to make smart choices. We want to see these young men achieve in all areas of their lives, both on and off the field. As we begin the 2013 football season, I would like to thank each of you for your support of Bronco Football. The last two years, we have accomplished great things, winning back-to-back championships; Division II in 2011 and Division I last year. We want a three-peat! We are striving for another division championship and, as we set out to make history, we are counting on you to be our twelfth man every Friday night. Games played in the fall are won in January thru July. With that in mind, our team has completed yet another challenging off-season. And, like true champions, they have risen to the occasion, staying focused and working hard. As we begin the 2013 season, our goal is to make our parents, Clovis Unified and the cities of Fresno and Clovis proud thank you for being apart of the Bronco family. Blessings to you all!

FROM THE Clovis North

QB Club

The Clovis North football program has continued to grow while exceeding expectations, from seventh grade all the way up to varsity. In six short years, our football program has moved from Division II to Division I, winning the Division II Valley Championship in 2011. Last year, our varsity team made us proud again by ending the season as repeat Valley Champions. Head coach Cory Hall, with the support of his hard working, committed coaching staff, administration and parents has put in countless hours preparing our players for this 2013 season. We are looking forward to a season of exciting games and good old-fashioned family fun! Each year the Quarterback Club has to change and rebuild itself to meet the need of the coaches and players. This year was no exception. The 2013 season will be known as the “Year of Automation” for us. We are fortunate to have so many talented, hardworking parent volunteers we can count on throughout the season. However, we can never have enough help with an organization of this size. This year we turned to automation to help us reach our goals by:

• Building & managing team websites • Selling merchandise & spirit packs on-line • Selling tickets to our fundraiser on-line

• E-Sponsorship Fundraiser • HUDL website

It takes a lot of money to run a football program that takes care of five teams each with rosters between 40-65 kids. Most programs only have to take care of a junior high or a high school, not both. Every dollar that is made goes directly back to the football program in the form of: • Transportation & Lodging out of town • Snack bar inventory • Game program

We are looking forward to a season of exciting games, good times and great memories for our Bronco Football family. We encourage everyone to upload your pictures & video onto our team website, follow us on Twitter or check out our Facebook page. But most importantly, we invite you to become involved. This is YOUR club and you have the power to make a huge difference in your child’s football experience. Lastly, we would like to send out a giant “THANK YOU” to all of our supporters & volunteers! From the parents that helped with team picture day, to the coaches that donated amazing items to the silent auction for the Black & Blue fundraiser. We thank the administrators that have done the undoable and the sponsors that have offered their support in many ways. Your time, commitment & generosity have overwhelmed us and this is what makes Clovis North the best football program around!

Automation has given us extra time to focus daily, and in “realtime” on player, coaches and team needs. One of our primary functions is to raise money for the players, coaches and teams at both Clovis North AND Granite Ridge. To meet our goals we fundraise at every opportunity: • Created team sponsorship packages for 7th-Varsity • E-Sponsorship fundraiser • Hosted Bronco Spring Fling, a bar-b-que social • Snack bar sales (7th through Freshman) • Opened & managed a fireworks booth • Hosted a Black & Blue Fundraiser/Party • Game program ad sales • Merchandise sales

• Equipment & uniforms (5 teams) • Facility Upgrades • Coaches • Team meals and hydration
