Geir Floede Geir Floede grew up in a small, windy village on the Norwegian west coast. His leanings to express himself visually began at an early age. During his late teens and early adulthood, he drew cartoons for newspapers and magazines. He became a passionate photographer and in recent years, digital art has been his chosen creative playground. In surrealism he finds inspiration to create narratives that go beyond the pure image, and he feels deeply that these are better exposed in black and white.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Julia Franchino Dubor I am a Photographer and Digital Artist. My passion is to communicate through the image, I am currently working in narrative photography. I also draw and write.I think that we artists have a mission to exercise one of the most complex muscles: that of observation and this is a daily task. For me, images are a way of thinking, a procedure that goes through me and questions me, an effective medium that reorganizes me from the inside.

PAINTING

John Denniston II Born and raised in Los Angeles, California by a family of dancers, painting came natural to a self engaged young boy who was too self conscious to get on stage. I moved to Brooklyn to study at Pratt, and now I'm being introduced to the hard part of artistry-honesty. Not like confessing, it's not about me, it's about making something that I or someone might be able to confess to.

PAINTING

Balu Timak I'm a Hungarian Artist living in Ireland/Wexford. I was born in Budapest Hungary in 1977. Living in Ireland since 2007. Mostly I paint with Acrylic but also I try new techniques every year. I'm a big fan of Gold and Silver leaf. I've started to paint in 2015 with an online teacher Cinnamon Cooney and after that with her mother Ginger Cook. I learnt about mixing colours, blending colours, basic techniques. Since 2017 I paint my own and held my first ever solo exhibition "Birds" in Artbank Bunclody Co. Wexford Ireland. What I love to paint? Well, mostly birds, trees, also like portraits because its very difficult and challenging. Also paint sex, yes I dare! Most people don't! I think the body of a woman is an art itself! In 2020 I heard about Gold leaf and started to make couple of paintings. When I got use to it, started working with glue gun and then combined both glue gun and Gold leaf. I also love to paint with grey colour, I have a dozen of Grey colour portrait painting.

PAINTING

Kennice Pan My name is Kennice and I am an artist based in Rhode Island and New Jersey. I am currently an undergraduate student studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. My paintings are an exploration of self—a narrative of my desires, fears, and interests as someone navigating the bridge between youth and adulthood. I like to reflect upon the dissonance between my idealization versus the reality of the world, and the product is often a longing for childhood innocence and naivety. My work serves as a sort of journal for me through the documentation of my emotions and thoughts as I continue to mature and experience the world.

ILLUSTRATION

Luke Vesly I have been fascinated by illustration and design since I can remember. Horror movies and their gorgeously, detailed poster art like the old Universal Monsters, Hammer Horror, the beautiful illustrations for Italian horror and it's Giallo murder mystery genre, are to name but a few which I draw immense inspiration from, their influence very much visible within my own work.

ILLUSTRATION

Stefano Rosselli Overall, Stefano’s visual signature is characterized by clean designs and a colorful illustrative style based on the use of simple shapes similar to what we can often see in paper crafts. His style takes root in his love for simplicity, playfulness and is, in a way, a tribute to a material tightly bound to his first creations, i.e. the paper. Nature, characters, oniric scenes, sport, architectural constructions are some of his preferred aspects to feature in his works. And if an opportunity to use his illustrative and design skills for educational purpose comes his way, he is always more than happy to bring his contribution to this kind of blend.

DIGITAL ART

Kazuki Takamatsu Takamatsu’s haunting black and white imagery explores narratives of death and society, through a unique depth-mapping technique that he developed, in which classic mediums such as drawing, airbrush and gouache painting are combined with computer graphics. INTERVIEW In your opinion, what is it about their color geometry that is special?

Color geometry is a sensory perception which evokes physiological and psychological responses in the human body. Bright colors such as red, orange and yellow are stimulating while green is associated with tranquility. The different proportions of color mix create dynamics in the visual plane and facilite eye movements.

JaamZIN Creative 26

INTERVIEW What awards have you been honored?

My project "Geometric Abstraction" has been awarded Gold Winner in the Personal Portfolio category and Top 5 Jury Pick at Tokyo International Foto Awards 2020. I have also received the Juror's Choice Award at the "Abstract" exhibition at Praxis Gallery and this exhibition will open on February 20.

INTERVIEW What are your plans in the near future (let's say, in 5 years?)

I have been thinking of organizing a print sale possibly in 2021-22 to raise funds for charity, especially Doctors Without Borders. As the world is healing from this pandemic, I hope my small efforts could raise awareness of inequality in medicine access. Of course I would also be interested in collaborating with Jaamzin for a solo online exhibition in the near future ;)

JaamZIN Creative 28

INTERVIEW How are you inspired by 'energy' in your art? Who influences your art and what motivates you? I have always admired the works of Piet Mondrian and Mark Rothko. Their non-objective

compositions inspire me to embrace simplification and fragmentation. The presentation of geometric shapes creates a rhythm and encourages viewers to reflect on the psycho-spatial relationship between humans and the built environment.
