ARENAL VOLCANO & HOT SPRINGS Your vacation in Costa Rica will not be completed without visiting La Fortuna area with its active volcano and its Rainy and Humid Forest, the best way to enjoy this volcano will be taking the hike near by the Arenal Volcano national park to walk on the first lava flow (1968), at these place you also have the chance to see some of present activity (depending on weather conditions), plus the view from the Arenal lake, !great hike!!, followed by a delicious lunch at the hot springs restaurant, then time to relax your mind and body as you enjoy of these therapeutic volcanic hot water springs, surrounded by mother nature, rain forest, volcano and magnificent infrastructure of pools, waterfalls and wet bars that will make your visit to these place very pleasant. BARRAHONDA CAVES & HIKE Hiking through the Barra Honda National Park lead us to an intricately large system of limestone caverns which house a multitude of capricious forms and figures. Reef rocks constitute Barra Honda hill, of 300mts tall, which means, by old reefs that sink caused by an elevation provoked by tectonics faults 60 millions of years ago. We will be gear up with special rock climbing equipment to explore and enjoy these caves and see the flora and fauna of this place, you can see coatis, agoutis, anteaters and monkeys also point out species of tree and medical plants. These Hike takes around one hour approx. and may be difficult depending on your physical condition.

BORINQUEN ADVENTURE DAY
Enjoy an exciting ride up the mountain and through the plains with beautiful views of Guanacaste’s pacific coast and Rincón de la Vieja volcano area. After the horse riding we can enjoy different activities according to your preference: we can prove if you have what it takes to fly over the tree tops, zipping across the canyon and in front of the breathtaking Borinquen Waterfall, or, leave behind the rules of the road and ride on country roads and trails through the forest on an ATV or take an exciting ride on a military-designed vehicle that knows no boundaries. Both activities can be enjoyed the same day as well, rates may vary depending on your preferred package. BUENAVISTA MEGA-COMBO This is a full day combination tour featuring zip-lines, hanging bridges, hot springs, waterslide, natural spa, and horseback ride. PALO VERDE WETLANDS & GUAITIL The hydrologic characteristics of the Tempisque River has created conditions to form these international important wetlands ecosystem (Ramsar site). Palo Verde National park it is an exceptional place for birdwatchers and nature lovers in general, a two hours boat trip will introduce us into these important ecosystem, gigantic crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and more wildlife that you ever imagined may be spotted. Great bird-watchers prizes can show up, such as the Jabiru, osprey, the white ibis, tiger herons, and scarlet macaws amongst others. After this great opportunity to see wildlife, we will visit the town of Guaitil, a traditional pottery artisan’s village.

MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST EXPERIENCE
Monteverde is located on the mountain range that divides the continent in two, with a high altitude that makes Monteverde a cloudy and tempered place, giving special conditions for its flora and fauna. RĂo Celeste Guided Rainforest Hike: Description: A legend tells that after god was done painting the sky, he washed the brushes in the river that now receive the name of Rio Celeste (Light Blue River). Once at the park entries we start the hike through these primary Humid Forest, several fauna species and exuberant flora are easily found in these ecosystem, during these walk we visit a magnificent waterfall, the place where the river dies with the light blue coloration, hot water springs (swimming on dry season only), these tour is recommended for hikers or anyone that love natural outdoors adventures.

ONE DAY ADVENTURE COMBO AT HACIENDA GUACHIPELIN:

SURF LESSONS AT TAMARINDO BEACH:
Tamarindo Beach is one of the best sites for surf learning in Costa Rica. The size of its waves and beach conditions makes this area an ideal place to initiate on your surfing. This beginner's surf lesson is a two hour long surf trip. We introduce surfing fundamentals, etiquette, safety, wave dynamics, paddling skills, surfboard positioning, maneuvering, proper stand-up and riding techniques. Surfing at Jaco is very safe, fun and easy going. Our guides will give you tips to learn all you need; so come to us! Our trained and fun instructors do not guarantee that you will be able to stand up on your surfboard and ride your first wave in your first class, but most of our clients achieve it. But we guarantee you to have lots of fun and new friends during the lessons. Professional Photography may be added to the lesson for an extra charge.

Description: Beautiful canyons, wildlife, exuberant vegetation, pristine water is what you will find as you raft for 2 hours down the class 2 & 3 rapids of the Colorado River, after the safety instruction you will get your 2 person raft, at these point the tour leader will give you the option of being accompanied by a guide or have them follow you closely on another raft. Experienced rafters or beginner have an enjoying guaranty, as well as the nature lovers. After the rafting we rappel down with certified equipment to finis our adventure with a delicious lunch. SAFARI FLOAT TOUR ON COROBICI RIVER
Floating for approximately 2 hours on a raft boat, down the CorobicĂ or Tenorio River (depending of water level), you will immerse yourself into an especial ecosystem: The Dry Gallery Forest, with gigantic kapoks, figs, rubber and shoreline trees which hosts many species of animal such as monkeys, bats, lizards, birds, Iguanas and more. Our guide will help us to spot some of these animals as we float down looking for our main goal: Crocodiles, there is an important population of these giants living on this river. This trip is combination of incredible tranquility plus a little bit of adventure when you pass some very save class 1 or 2 rapids. After lunch we can relax for a moment at the beautiful Cortez Waterfalls, great way to enjoy your vacation days in Guanacaste.

SANTA ROSA NATIONAL PARK & LIBERIA CITY TOUR
Description: This park is the most important monument on the protection of our dry forest and freedom after the independence, there is located “La Casona” where in 1856 the Costarican army compound by countrymen beat a group of filibusters that tried to conquer the whole central American territory. At the same time you have the chance to walk thru the dry forest that contains 2% of the worldwide biodiversity at one of the trail where you can see monkeys, birds, deers and many more animals. After the hike we take our way to Liberia City, where you can still walk around the center of Liberia and have a glimpse of what was the white city. Historically, Liberia has been called "La Ciudad Blanca" because of its white adobe houses, white dirt roads and its people who dressed all in white because of the extreme heat. You have the opportunities for buy some souvenirs in this city meanwhile we show you the historic places.

NICARAGUA ONE DAY TOUR:
Description: Nicaragua is a beautiful country, owner of a very rich culture and a history full of proud despite difficult memories. Our journey to our northern neighbor starts very early in the morning, to avoid lines on the border. At the other side we will stop for a delicious breakfast near of Rivas city. We continue our way to Granada city, one of the first founded cities in America by Europeans, a colorful place, built on Spanish colonial architecture that nowadays still remains. At Granada we visit the most important monuments of the city on a horse-drawn carriage, like Spanish used to do it 200 years ago; we will see the main church known as the “Catedral”, “The Plaza de España” which is one of the best view points for the magnificent Nicaragua Lake and many others; we take lunch on a nice restaurant with a historical view. After lunch we drive towards to Masaya City, a very typical Nicaraguan Town and we visit the active Masaya Volcano and the National park, a natural attraction that we cannot miss on our trip; we finish our stay at Masaya with a visit to the local market when you will have the chance to see the local pottery and pick up a souvenir. We get back to Costa Rica to drop you off at your hotel on the evening.

PACIFIC GREEN TURTLE NESTING TOUR
Tour available only between from November to April. Description: After we registered at the park ranger station waiting for a while may be needed, due to the local tour guides at the field will try to spot the turtles that are starting to come out of the ocean at the evening . As soon as one of the turtles is ready to begin the egg laying process we will start walking the beach to get to the nesting place where we will experience one of the most incredible phenomenon of mother’s nature, when these enormous (5 ft.) turtles begins to dig a hole in the sand to lay between 65 to 90 eggs into it, then she will start to cover the nest to protect them from predation; 60 days after, live will emerge to become a new hope for the pacific green turtle to survive. For reservation minimum two days before, passport number required for it.

A beautiful river that rises at Tenorio Volcano at Guanacaste mountain range, it’s pure and white water makes it the best river on Guanacaste area for rafting. You can combine almost 20 kilometers of rapids with magnificent landscapes surrounded by tropical forest. No experience required but good effort needed it on this world famous class III and IV white water rafting.
