Jacek Mirczak

Jacek Mirczak was born in Czestochowa in 1968. Since 1991 he has lived and worked in Warsaw. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Czestochowa in 1988 and later graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In the years 1988-1992 he was a member of the artistic group “TeArt”, founded and led by Kazimierz Rochecki, where he developed his interest in happening and action painting. However, in his most recent artistic endeavors he has devoted his attention to photography and painting. His works are exhibited in Poland, Italy, Algeria, USA and Australia. Jacek Mirczak is a member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). He is the part of the “Pracownia 23” founded by Edyta Dzierż and Joanna Mrozowska. He is associated with the artistic movement “Stan rzeczywisty“.
