Saudi Aramco Saudi Aramco is the world’s most valuable company, has the largest proven crude oil reserves and the largest daily Oil production. I have been part of a creative team working on concept, layout, style guidelines and info graphics for a complete new digital strategy and design. Our aim was innovation and creativity concentrating on the possibilities energy production brings. Its single-page construction is meant to imitate drilling and delving deeper through layers of data, just as drills bore down for hydrocarbons. Part of this project was a full english and arabic website as well as a mobile optimised site.

BT Flat 6 This interactive digital experience was the digital Part of BTs campaign 2012. One of the main goals was to engage with a young tech savvy audience. In this part of the campaign the main TV Characters were introduced using full screen imagery, parallax scrolling, gif animation and social media.

Compare The Market Compare anything is a Facebook app brought by Compare the Market. This App helps you to compare anything according to its social buzz. From Names to celebrities, cars or even insurances. I have been part of a small creative team concentrating on icons and animation.

The 21-Day Sat Fat Challenge This Iphone application by the Food Standards Agency promotes a healthier diet, fighting saturated fat step by step. Each day the user will take a challenge easy enough to fit his life style. The whole challenge lasts for 21 days as this is the minimum time period the human needs to change a habit. I have been part of the creative team working on the concept for this fun, engaging and healthy app.

BT Smart Talk BT Smart talk gives all BT customers the opportunity to take their landline wherever they go. This app is optimised for iphone and android phones. It is a great way of saving money and gives the good old landline purpose again. I have been working on the designs for these apps in a small team with 2 other designers.

BT Help This responsive design gives acces to BTs Help and support section when it’s needed most, usually when your landline or internet isn’t working. It is clearly structured and gives a simplified view on help topics and FAQs, maintaining BTs branding. The interesting part of responsive desing is that you design having different devices and their requirements in the back of your head.

LBi Rave Where all creatives in London come together and celebrate themselves. This industry event is hosted by LBi in the truman brewery and tickets are usually sold out in minutes. As part of an organising committee me and 4 other creative talents have focussed on concept, interior, sponsor design and installations. It was great fun and huge success as this event has been awarded by Creative Showcase and was highly recommended by the Digital Impact Awards 2012.

Vitae Nice to meet you. I am Julia a London based graphic designer with a focus on digital and event design. Why London? Because to me it is the most exciting, multi cultural city I know. Especially in the design industry London is one of the few places were real magic happens. Why digital and event design? I like interacting with people and the web as well as events are the best platforms to do so. Moreover both of these fields are continuously changing and developing and I like change. I grew up in Berlin, studied Communication Design in Hamburg and graduated 2009 with a BA (hons) in Creative Advertising at Bucks University. After internships at Elvis Communication and AIS London I started as a Creative Designer at LBi London where I worked on Brands like M&S, Virgin Atlantik, BT, Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Pruhealth, Turkcell, Saudi Aramco and Coca Cola. Besides my work at LBi I founded the photography lable 3is3 Identity with My Partner Christian Kraatz. 3is3 Identity is a platform for artist who work towards the topic identity. We organise exhibitions, pop-up street galleries and work together on identity related projects.

What my collegues say about me: Fiorella Rietti | Creative Director “ Julia really knows how to craft to perfection and is what you call an amazing designer, art director and crafter. The times we worked together, she knew how to deliver on time, and on the brief, but always surprised me. On the other hand... you get this amazing person who not only shines with positivity but is always willing to do more. Julia contributes to creative thinking but also contributes to culture within an organisation. Read more recommendations at my linkedin Would you like to work with me?
