about me.
I have always been influenced by sustainability within design, as well as improving existing design experiences. After completing work placement at a company which used plastics in the majority of their products, I was influenced to strive to make designs as sustainable as possible. I am passionate about design and always strive for perfection. However, in a field such as design; that it ever-changing, I believe that there is always more to learn and develop.

intoto razor The brief was to consider shaving choices and how they promote gender inequality and harm the environment. Intoto is a brand designed to fight against the gender inequality and lack of sustainability present in the cosmetic and hygiene industry. Intoto strive to battle against current issues and challenge detrimental world views, by developing with the individual at heart and the idea that each individual has a different opinion, body and impact on the world. Growing up in an environmentally deteriorating world with changing societal values and ideals has fallen to Millennials. Therefore, Intoto aims to change one small piece of everyday life through shaving, in the hope of challenging existing ideologies and creating awareness of issues that otherwise might be overlooked.

meal time subscription service The brief was to look at modern, full-time working families that may struggle with managing their work-life balance. Then create a solution to create more family involvement in the kitchen and at ‘meal time’. Meal Time is a subscription-based meal service which provides all the ingredients to create healthy and fun meals for a family. The subscription is not only designed to reduce the effort needed to cook for a family but to also promote family involvement within the meal preparation and cooking. Meal Time is catered so that children can be involved throughout the ordering process and the preparation. The process allows children to develop not only domestic skills such as an understanding of food but also learn about where the food comes from and different cultures. It also features a competition element, which allows subscribing families to compete to enter the ‘Hall of Fame’ and have changes at winning free meals and more!
enkel sofa-bed The brief for this project was to design a minimalist sofa-bed and its mechanism. The Enkel sofa-bed was designed to use minimal effort and be simplistic in a modern living space. The influences for the sofa could be shown to be Swedish style design with a minimalist twist. The mechanism of the sofabed was designed so that it will pull up and out. This was done by a lever system inside the sofa itself. The simplistic stripped back appeal of the sofa allows it to blend into any modern living area.
slats table lamp The brief for this project was to design a piece of home-ware in the style of Heal’s. The Slats table lamp us a fun and charming lamp made from a base and changeable slats. The use of the slats allows for a contemporary take on the diffusion of light within a home environment. By allowing the slats to be removable and interchangeable it allows the user to make the most of the light to suit their needs.
casio amber
The brief of this project was to create a watch in the style of CASIO with a premium feel. The client of the brief was a modern ‘Renaissance Man’; a multifaceted client , with a variety of interests and tastes. Casio Amber was created in a simplistic way while using characteristics of Casio on the time face and other key areas. However the use of bold colour and darker metals creates a statement piece that would suit any modern ‘Renaissance Man’.
