Frequently Asked Questions WHAT SHOULD I BRING? As mentioned earlier, we recommend you wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle with your name on it. Otherwise, staffers will inform campers of anything needed on a daily basis. HOW DOES WEATHER AFFECT YOUR CAMP? In the event of inclement weather, outdoor camps will meet in an alternate location. If the schedule needs to be altered due to severe weather, you will be notified immediately by email. HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE MY CLASS IS? At drop off the first day, there will be maps and staffers to guide your campers to the camp locations. WHAT IF MY CHILD GETS SICK OR INJURED? Parents will be notified if a child becomes sick or injured. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? In the event a camp must be canceled for any reason, registrants will receive a full refund. If, after a camp begins, it becomes apparent there are medical or emotional needs that cannot be accommodated by staffers, or if a camper is uncooperative with staffers or detrimental to other children, the camper may be removed from any current or future camp without refund. In the unlikely circumstance where refunds are appropriate (with the exception of canceled courses), a $25 processing fee is required. Please contact Director of Summer Camps Vicki King at vking@jacksonprep.org with additional questions.
