Tesla Annual Report PUBLICATION DESIGN This project is an annual report for Tesla. The goal was to sustain the brand’s established identity while improving the user experience. Creating a clean design using pared-down colors, futuristic typefaces, and geometric elements emanates innovation and high qualifications. Incorporating negative space and pacer pages helps the user

Malen Huis PACKAGING AND PUBLICATION DESIGN This project is a research-based exploration creating coffee packaging and a lookbook. Influenced by the history and culture of the Netherlands, Malen Huis attains the look and feel of this culture. Dutch for “Grind House,” Malen Huis [ma·luhn hoo·ughs] alludes to the innovational and sustainable energy

solutions of the Netherlands, as well as the energizing effects of coffee.
9
Malen Huis’ lookbook is for investors during the initiation of the company. Zoning in on geometry, the brand aesthetic was inspired by a mix of Dutch colonial and modern architecture and Wim Crouwel, a Dutch designer known for integrating rigid logic and

Blondin’s IPA PACKAGING DESIGN This project is a research-based investigation creating packaging inspired by the late 1800s carnival culture. Named after Charles Blondin, a French tightrope walker and acrobat, Blondin’s Daring IPA exhibits thrill and nostalgia. A modern-retro-styled aesthetic aimed towards a demographic of male adults, 25-35 years old, was created with a pared-down color palette, hand-drawn

Crispr EDITORIAL DESIGN
This project is a magazine article covering a controversial topic. I chose CRISPR, which is a company that manipulates DNA for medical purposes. The hand-crafted illustration is a combination of Mod Podge, canvas, magazine cut-outs, and red ink. Creating a surrealistic

Dublin Murder Squad COVER RE-DESIGN AND PROMOTIONAL COLLATERAL
This project was a cover re-design with promotional collateral for Tana French’s book series Dublin Murder Squad. The collateral includes a promotional poster and commemorative posters. French’s writing demonstrates a deep understanding of human psychology and the shifting nature of reality. Conveying French’s dark, thrilling, and gritty style of writing, textural illustrations marry geometric shapes. Creating a wordmark with a

Kruger National Park POSTER AND PUBLICATION DESIGN
I decided to promote Kruger National Park, located in South Africa, by creating travel posters and a travel guide. Each poster works cohesively with a unified warm color palette and centered composition. The focal point of each poster illustrates one of the “Big Five” located at the park. The “Big Five” includes lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants, and buffalos. The integrating animals and

Resistance Campaign HAND-CRAFTED ILLUSTRATIVE POSTER DESIGN
This project is an awareness-raising campaign about the dangers and harmful health effects of the new and popular Juul. Each piece emphasizes the excessive portion of nicotine in one Juul pod. Comparison to that of cigarettes establishes mental clarity. To stimulate senses and emotions, the universal aesthetic of this campaign is graphically

raw and filthy. A hand-crafted illustration achieved this effect most successfully.

Teja’s Tacos PACKAGING AND HTML WEBSITE DESIGN
This packaging and website project is an exploration of culture and location. The goal was to find inspiration from the local area of the food truck. Located at Santa Monica Beach serving Tex-Mex, Teja’s Taco’s brand identity consists

of bright colors, dynamic patterns, and a hand-lettered logo.

This portion of the project was an expansion on Teja’s Tacos by creating a website on Dreamweaver. The objective was to design the website fron scratch, while maintaining the original universal aesthetic. Including organic color-blocks and gradients on the hero image of each page symbolizes the origin and menu of Teja’s Tacos. Scan the QR
