The overall goal of this project was to execute consistent layout of type in a publication successfully and to design and brand the publication itself. For the trade journals, we were required to create a unique masthead from scratch. The publications themselves were to be at least 32 pages in total and were to be produced and bound.
DUBLIN MURDER SQUAD SERIES illustration, print
For this project, we were to develop a brand for one of six series of novels. You were to include book jacket designs along with collateral pieces to promote and advertise your chosen series. The design should be worthy of the words on the pages of the book. The overall goal of this project was to get us to work professionally within a conventional but diverse project. We were to show our utilization of skills, media, and techniques from previous courses throughout the branding and collateral material. Overall, we were required to redesign the book jackets, a required poster, an in-store display, and two additional pieces of collateral of our choosing. I chose to do a website and packaging for the book series.
RECOGEME ARGENTENIAN COFFEE SHOP
branding, publication For this project, I was tasked with branding a coffee shop based on a location of our choosing. After choosing a country, an identity system, as well as coffee shop collateral, was to be designed. The collateral was to include three coffee bag designs, a menu, and a lookbook for the shop. The branding and identity were to be based off of the culture of the people of our location.
GLIDE INTERNATIONAL DANCE SUMMIT branding
For this project, I was tasked with creating and branding a conference based off Lima, Peru. I decided to create a dance summit that features a plethora of dance types including hip hop, ballet, and tango. I wanted to portray movement through interlacing of image and type.

website design This project is a redesign for the meal delivery service Hello Fresh. The goal was to maintain the business’s established brand while improving the overall layout and user experience of the site.
MISSISSIPPI WILDLIFE, FISHERIES, & PARKS motion graphics For this project, our group was tasked with making a commercial for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. For my contribution, I took on the role as videographer and animated the text using Adobe After Effects. This project was super fun to do and allowed me to dip my feet wet in motion graphics.
EPITHYMIA GINGERALE packaging This project was to design a four-pack based on a time period of our choosing. The full packaging, label, and caps were to be designed for the project. The overall goal of this project was to visually represent a past time period through packaging. This project not only required us to look back at design in the past but how to also portray it in today’s current climate and trends. Epithymia is featured in 3 different flavors with the mockups on the left displaying the 360 view of individual packaging.
