Zahra This book was designed to reflect the colorful and bright culture of Morocco. The publication was created to showcase the creative ideas behind a restaurant named Zahra and what made it different. In its thoughtfully laid out pages you will be introduced to Morocco’s culture, food, and what makes it beautiful.

Zahra The concept behind the moroccan restaurant Zahra is an authentic design and experience created to envelope you into a whole new world. Through this collateral I wanted to really focus on different materials and colors that define the eccentric country.

Beauty Kills This skateboard had to be designed in a specific style, with a specific movement or issue that was important to the designer. The style assigned to this skateboard was Michael Shwab, and the issue was animal testing for makeup. It was intended to be a bit more gruesome to shock the viewer, with a whole pink bunny on one side and a decaying green bunny on the other. The color palette was limited, like most of Michael Shwab’s work.

The late night FESTIVAL This brand guide goes with the Late Night Festival collateral that I designed. It includes all of the rules for creating any type of copy or collateral for the festival in an easy and fun way. The concept behind the Late Night Festival is late night cravings, but in Tokyo and with live music. This food festival is set in a lovely park in Japan, and it invites the most popular restaurants in the area to stay open just a little bit later for those late night cravings. It was designed with international and local festival goers in mind, and includes english and Japanese translations so that everyone can enjoy good food and have a good time. The illustrations were designed with Japanese cartoons and culture in mind, and the colors chosen were meant to give off a good night time vibe.

martinelli’s The chosen style for the brand of these two cold beverages was Italian futurism, hence the name Martinelli’s. It was designed using popular colors, patterns, and shapes that were used during the time.

lululemon Lululemon’s website needed to incorporate more of their brand red color to help bring more attention to specific products, and it could be designed more stylishly and modern like other high end websites. This new redone website focuses on using their red to create a guided customer experience through the products that were highlighted.

The Passage series This is a redesign of the popular book series “The Passage. The design was simplified and created using the settings and themes of each book to create a cover for the different books that felt similar across all of them. A poster, bookmarks, and a book set was created in the same style.

PRINT PRODUCTION This poster was designed to simplify the process of print production for those who may not be so familiar with the process itself. Since it was created to help others learn about the process, it was designed in an aesthetic way to make it seem a little more interesting to new learners. Only two colors were used to help not distract from the content that was on the poster.

TERRA Terra is a reusable product company that educates the masses and creates products for the waste-conscious individual that focuses on products used in every day life to cut down on plastic use as much as possible. The target audience is millennial females who desire to start living a more sustainable life style with artistic and cute pieces of reusable products. The brand will start with three designed lines; earth, water, and air. Whichever design line the consumer buys from, a proceed of the money will go towards cleaning pollution in that area through foundations that have already been created. The brand has room to grow with many more additional design lines, and many more products.

gRAPHICALLY This publication was designed and researched around digital illustration, something that I am personally very interested in. The publication had a 36 page minimum, and similar art trade journals were analyzed to inspire Graphically’s page layout and design.

Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to flip through what I have been working on for the past four years. From here I hope to continue to learn as much as I can and become a stronger designer in the professional world. I am very thankful for all of the knowledge that my teachers have passed down to me, and I hope I can make them proud to call me their student.
