From birth until the age of 10 I lived in Bushwick, Brooklyn and now I currently live in Queens. Although I've lived between boroughs, I have always embraced the sites of New York and the cities around me. However, the most influential experiences and street knowledge that have impacted me have come from Brooklyn. Being surrounded by drug dealers, addicts, violence and poverty as a child has made me appreciate all the simple things in life. It wasn't too long into childhood that my family knew my surroundings could only lead me on a downhill road. So I am forever grateful that I had the privilege to spend my teen years in a more balanced environment. Even though the atmosphere was changed dramatically, my traumatic childhood has left its footprints behind. I
