History of The Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International In 1972, after unceasingly seeking the manifestation of God through the gift of Prophecy–as the Bible teaches in numerous passages—He was pleased to awaken the Gift upon Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive de Moreno. Through that first message, the Holy Spirit –among other things—said the following: En 1972, luego de estar buscando incesantemente la manifestación de Dios mediante el Don de la Profecía – tal como lo enseña la Biblia en numerosos pasajes-­ Dios permite el despertar de este Don en nuestra Hermana María Luisa Piraquive de Moreno. A través de ese primer mensaje el Espíritu Santo – entre otras cosas-­ dijo lo siguiente:

GROUP A “LUIS, KEEP ON PREACHING, FOR I WILL MAKE THIS SMALL FOLD INTO A GREAT NATION WHERE I WILL MANIFEST, I WILL BRING PROSPERITY, I WILL BRING THE SOULS TWO BY TWO, I WILL TEACH YOU THE DOCTRINE AND YOU WILL PREACH TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE, I WILL USE YOU AND GIVE YOU ALL THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS, YOU WILL GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT, I WILL GUARD YOU AND SUPPORT YOU, YOU WILL TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT PLACES, TOWNS, CITIES AND COUNTRIES, I WILL INCREASE MY PEOPLE GREATLY ALL OVER THE WORLD, I WILL RAISE IT UP. DO NOT GO PREACHING FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE NOR IN THE PARKS, BUSES, OR ON THE CORNERS OF THE STREETS, YOU WILL HAVE NO NEED TO DO RADIO OR TV PROGRAMS, NOR CAMPAIGNS OR ADVERTISEMENT OF ANY KIND FOR IT WILL BE ME WHO WILL BRING THE SOULS AND I WILL CONVERT THEM TO MY TRUE WAY, I MYSELF WILL LEAD AND GOVERN THE CHURCH. DO NOT FORGE ALLIANCES WITH OTHER CONGREGATIONS, DENOMINATIONS OR COUNCILS, FOR IT WILL BE ME WHO WILL GOVERN THIS CHURCH.

THEY CALL THEMSELVES MY MINISTERS WITHOUT HAVING BEEN CHOSEN OR APPOINTED BY ME, I HAVEN’T CALLED THEM NOR HAVE I APPOINT THEM TO BE IN THE PLACES THEY BOAST TO BE, ALL THOSE CONGREGATIONS ARE MATERIALISTIC, BUT SHOULD THERE BE ANY SINCERE SOUL I WILL TAKE THEM OUT OF THOSE PLACES AND BRING THEM TO THIS PLACE. MANY PASTORS WILL ENVY YOU AND EVEN HATE YOU, AND SOME OTHERS WILL COME TO THIS PLACE AND WILL CONVERT. THIS IS THE NATION I SHALL RAISE, IT WILL GREATLY PROSPER, I WILL GATHER AND BRING ALL THE SHEEP TO THIS FOLD, THE ONES THAT ARE STRAYING, MISTREATED, LAME, INJURED, DISAPPOINTED, AFFLICTED; THOSE WHO HAVE WITHDRAWN DUE TO OTHERS’ BAD TESTIMONY, I WILL GATHER THOSE WHO ARE DESTITUTE, HELPLESS, MAIMED, BLIND AND IGNORANT, I WILL GIVE LIFE, PEACE, JOY AND HAPPINESS IN ABUNDANCE TO ALL THOSE SHEEP.
