Concept store design la perla The concept was to design the new flagship store of La Perla at the famous Via Tornabuoni in Florence, Italy. Considering the clients needs of a store that sells a dream of an elegant and sensual life for a woman with sartorial elegance, a space got created that is as exceptional, tasteful and feminine as his clients. Due to a quite challenging floorplan with an unremovable column, a new concept evolved around this column, creating an Italian Pavillion in the center, with a lace looking structure made out of patinated copper where La Perla´s most popular collections get shown. For the fitting rooms as well as the made to order VIP area a feeling of exclusivity got achieved by imitating an oyster opening with an entrance as a crack of light. These walls made out of mother of pearl were combined with creme tadelakt walls in the selling area and a copper floor with a shiny finish. All chosen furniture pieces got selected by their exclusiveness and elegance, to fit perfectly into this feminine yet unusual store.

Designing a exhibition Space for Artist Damien Hirsts daimound Skull “For the love of god”

8

“For the love of god, Damien!” The Concept is about the feeling of greed and waking up to reality. People get a choice in the lobby while they are having a luxury experience with Champagne. They have to choose a Path to enter the exhibition, Life or Death. What they don’t know is that both lead them in to two equal tunnels. There they get an experience of the best of luxury, wealth and Greed. Something we all want, right?

9

10

The doors in the end of the tunnels lead them out to a chaired room “The wake up to reality room” Where the focus is the cost behind our greed and who suffers for it. From this room they walk out from a tunnel made of skulls in to the “Reality Room” After realising the cost of money and greed, they enter in the last room. It is a totaly dark room for reflection of what they just experienced. Uplit by light is the “For the love of god skull”.

On the wall there is a Quote: ”…My final wish is , as you carry my body to my grave, to put my hands outside the coffin to let people understand that I came to this world with empty hands and I will leave this world also with empty hands.” - The Three Final Wishes of Alexander the Great

Office Design SONY

12

OFFICE DESIGN FOR SONY This office got designed for Sony´s Research and Development Team of DSL Cameras, including 20 people in total and located in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The project´s scope was to make most out of the natural daylight, incorporating nature wherever possible indoors as well as having sufficient storage space. Given that Sony has a Japanese origin it was tried to achieve a combination of Japanese tradition and European-American simplicity. An informal yet stimulating atmosphere for supporting team work got created with the help of organic shapes, natural materials such as bamboo, lots of light, plenty of plants, a relaxation and meditation room, as well as an unusual conference room that lead to the well-being of not only the employees but also the clients.

The spiritual place is designed for people who are not necessarily religious but spiritual in their own way. Though these people don’t necessarily believe in rules outlined by the main religions, they believe that there is something out there that doesn’t necessarily work on a level of heaven or hell, but rather on a broader level of co-existence in the greater Universe. Statistics show that the overall stress level of people increased heavily over the last 5 years. Burnouts result in serious health issues. Workplace stress costs more than 300 bln. dollars annually in healthcare and missed work hours in the USA alone. 50% of women feel guilty about taking time for themselves. This is a reason why we feel it is important to provide a peaceful spiritual place in busy metropolitan cities. This spiritual place can be located in any city. For purposes of this project we are placing it in New York City. It is intended to be an abode, a small peaceful place where people get away from a hectic life, deadlines and a pressure of a modern life to sit down, to relax, to rebalance and to reect. Most of the matter in the world is made of atoms, which form molecules, cells that eventually make planets, galaxies and the Universe. Its everuthing and this is our inspiration. The natural light coming through molecularshaped openings and accent lights for a water reservoir and plants. Due to a spherical shape of the structure and colored glass molecular openings we will achieve a beautiful play of a colorful light indoors.

The Eco Bus stop and Public Phone

24

The eco bus stop and Public phone have the same Design idea. They are simple and small in size and are placed on the crowded streets of Stockholm. The recycled Bio-glass roofs are covered with semi-transparent solar panels and have a small wind turbine on top for extra energy winter time and darker days. The energy that is not needed by the bus stops systems is used to charge the electrical buses when needed. The arriving bus time is shown around the side of the roof from both inside and outside. The Eco bus stop and public phone is not only a practical design it is also an important reminder about sustainability and being self-sufficient.

This Project is about shape and material. Recycled Aluminium is a light material that handles the outdoors perfectly. It has an heavier bottom part for balance.

The Rock Using the recyclable Plasmix material I have created a outdoor seating that has been inpsired from nature. Plasmix is a light and strong material that can stand outdoor aktivities and all weather. Plasmix is a recycled plastic material that opens new doors to reuseing all our waste plastics that we before could not recycle.
