Appendix 2: Public Places

The connection between the public green space and Fred Nicholson street was further developed. Planter boxes that double as seating and trees are again used to create a threshold space between the street/sidewalk and the public green space.

Another layer of planning was developed to incorporate more walking routes as well as benches placed throughout the pathways. Benches were also placed around certain trees to allow more intimate seating spaces that are away from the walkways.

The walkways were also developed to connect to the street edge (Fred Nicholson Street).
