ello! I’m Jacqui, an artist and illustrator by profession, and I’m never happier than when I’m working in my garden - usually with Pip, my cat, and Lionel, my dog, to “help” and keep me company. I’m just starting my new internet-based business - Flapdoodle Designs And I thought that while I’m getting things going it would be fun to give away some pretty - and useful - stuff. If you’re a keen gardener like me, I’m sure you’ll agree that there’s always lots to be getting on with outside, and it’s always good to be well -organised, with lists of things to do - and when to do them of course as well as records of planting,, crop yields and dates, as well as what went well (0r not!) So I decided to put together this little gardener’s notebook for you - a great way to keep track of your gardening activities - and some of my designs too. I hope you like it and find it useful over the coming year in the garden. Lots of love, Jacqui xx

Flapdoodle Designs was started in 2005 by illustrator/designer Jacqui Bignell. Jacqui has been illustrating for books, fabrics, packaging, greetings cards and giftware since leaving Art College 1986. Flapdoodle Designs was originally set up to produce greetings cards but recently Jacqui has decided to take her business further and even brave the internet. Jacqui has a great love of gardening and hopes this gardener's notebook reflects that, bringing a little of her English country garden into your home, wherever you may be. Connect with Jacqui on Facebook www.facebook.com/flapdoodledesigns Or why not check out her range of embroidery patterns “Sewflapdoodle on Bustle & Sew?
