Don’t you want this to continue? We present you the possibility to go beyond your knowledge, to challenge yourself and feel what it means to be part of a Federation that promotes entrepreneurial spirit! How can you do that? Tasks of an ExBo Member: •

Promote JADE Romania and Junior Enterprise Concept to third parties(companies, government, media, etc)

• To maintain strong collaboration between Junior Enterprises and Federation • To represent JADE Romania in the International Network • To foster a sustainable development of the National Federation


Profile of the President Your responsibilities: - Human resources: build the base of JADE Romania by managing recruitment of the team and future ExBo, bringing the team together to boost performance, facilitating the development of the team and offering constant evaluation; - Strategy Management: developing and monitoring the Annual Plan of the federation, developing together with the team the next 3 years strategy; - Quality Management: implementing and perfecting the federation’s Quality System , aiming to bring forward the quality inside the national network - Alumni Management: maintaining relations with the Alumni, bridging the gap between current ExBo and estranged alumni Your specific profile: - you have leadership skills and experience and you can bring people together - You are empathic, but you can also be strict - You have experience in at least one of the mentioned responsibilities and are willing to learn the other ones


Profile of the Vice President Your responsibilities - Private Cooperation: develop new and look after the existing contacts of JADE Romania with private companies or universities for developing financial partnerships - Public Affairs: develop new and look after the existing relations with the public sector of Romania. Cooperate with foundations and other NGOs in order to raise awareness . Fundraise money by applying for European and National grants. Your specific profile: - You have experience in selling, pitching or negotiating - You are able to adapt to the business world and etiquette and can constantly follow-up on the existing and new contacts - You are organized and can manage your time and activities properly, between meetings, events and office work - You have experience in at least one of the mentioned responsibilities and are willing to learn the other ones


Profile of the Secretar y General Your responsibilities: - Events: Organizing or supervising local and internal events, such as the National Meeting, Business Cocktail. - Communication: manage the media contacts, write press releases or manage website contact. Raise JADE Romania’s brand awareness in media. - Network Management: be in charge of the communication between JADE Romania and the JEs. Be the central contact person of JADE Romania for the member of the network. Your specific profile: - You are a detail-oriented worker with a sense of aesthetics - You have experience in Project Management - Be sympathetic, patient and friendly and can act as a mediator - You have experience in at least one of the mentioned responsibilities and are willing to learn the others


Profile of the Treasurer Your responsibilities: - Finance: manage the financial resources, forecast and budget. Help JADE Romania improve the efficiency of the expenditures. - Law: ensure the legalisation of needed documentation, consult JADE Romania legal advisor and create contracts for various stakeholders - Enlargement: play and active role in spreading the Junior Enterprise concept within Romania and not only. Offer advice to Junior Initiatives in order for them to complete the Maturity Model. Your specific profile: - You are detailed worker and like to deal with texts and numbers - You are trustworthy and detail-oriented - You have experience in at least one of the mentioned responsibilities and are willing to learn the other one


Profile of the International Manager Your responsibilities: - International Management: manage communication with JADE, the other International Managers from One Big Team and with the International Managers from the Romanian JEs. Complete the international reports and documentations. Your specific profile: - You have proficient English skills - You are sympathetic, patient and friendly and diplomatic - You are open to different cultures and rules

Application process The applications will be completed until 22nd of March. After this deadline, we will begin the second stage of the recruitment process. Teams will be formed in order to apply for the mandate of the next executive team.

There will be no candidates chosen individually during the General Assembly; the votes will be bestowed only on the team as a whole because we strongly believe that a team can overcome the lack of knowledge trough their spirit and unity, but the work of a team cannot be replaced by practical skills.

The team for 2015 – 2016 will be elected during the General Assembly of the National Meeting 2015, which will take place between the 14th and 17th of May. The Executive Board will take office on the 1st of August 2015 after the handover period.


The Recruitment Process During March and April we will have Skype Meetings, tasks and an Assessment Center through which the candidates will get to know each other and will understand better the responsibilities they will face. One or more teams will be formed (by choice of the candidates);

The teams will present during the General Assembly their strategy for the upcoming year and the Executive vote of the Assembly will determine the elected team for the mandate.
