SATURDAY BEACH OLYMPICS Castle is pleased to announce an exciting addition to the agenda for children ages 4 to 12 years old. The event will take place on Saturday, March 30 th 2 - 4 pm right on the beach, so bring your family down for a fun afternoon of beach activities and games.
2:00 PM
Tug-o-War/Ice Breaker/Organize Teams.
2:15 PM
Obstacle Course Relay: Sack race, army crawl, crab walk, giant ring toss (hula hoop)— Each team member will complete the course; first team to complete wins!
2:30 PM 2:45 PM
Water Bucket Relay: Team with the most water in their bucket when time is called wins!
3:00 PM
“Sea Turtle” Transport (Water Balloon Relay): Each team member must touch each turtle. The team with the greatest number of surviving sea turtles wins!
3:15 PM
Scrabble Scramble: Mad scramble for letters with 5 minutes on the clock—the team with the highest scoring word wins!
3:30 PM
Blind Trust Walk: Teams will each designate a “guide” to coach the rest of the team members blindfolded to the finish line.
3:45 PM
Final Scores/Winners Announced!
Speed Sandcastle Relay: each team member will have two one-minute runs from starting point to designated “castle zone” to add to the team’s castle. Judge will award points for best architecture and most original!
Minimum of 8 participants required to run the event – Maximum of 50 children.
