Set the basis for a European HUB for Entrepreneurial Learning
The EE-HUB
Good Practice Example
EE-HUB Experts
• State of EE • Need national goals & schools that own a piece of those goals • Focus on teacher training • EE-HUB working group (Partnerships
between business and education) • Strengthen the partnerships between business
and schools & JA’s role as national operator
• Policy recommendations • EE integrated in different subjects • Create visibility • Teacher focus: CPD & collaboration/networking
• State of EE- Findings from the Eurydice report • Working group (Instruments to collect and assess information
on EE) • ESP – a certifying system for students participating JA’s Company
Programme to assess their entrepreneurial competences, knowledge and skills. Added value for the students when applying for a job. • OctoSkills – an evaluation app for teachers to assess the influence of their educational initiatives on students on all levels of education. Finding: when teachers apply entrepreneurship education methods, students feel that they are supported by the teachers, enhancing their motivation and engagement.
• LUT MTEE – a self-evaluation and development tool for primary,
secondary and VET teachers and a survey instrument for researchers and policy-makers. There is a very positive influence and strong connection between teacher training in entrepreneurship education and the entrepreneurship education practices applied: allocating resources to training gives strong support to entrepreneurship education.
• Policy recommendations • monitoring progress and evaluation should be built in the national strategies • education institutions should review and assess their own activities • Support teachers to measure own progress
• State of EE • Focus on skills development • Businesses need to think IMPACT • Evidence of involvement from businesses • EE-HUB working group (Partnerships between
business and education) • Link between EE – Financial education & EE- digital
skills • Policy recommendations • Multiply business-education partnerships • Promote culture of volunteering • Investment in innovative education partnerships • Businesses & the role they play in getting EE in the spotlight
