Brooklyn Navy Yard Kunsthalle Michael Young Studio Fall 2011 Brooklyn Navy Yard Kunsthalle elevates itself from the ground to fly over a covered, open-air sculpture park on the surface level on a former Navy dock. Two distinct program elements of the Kunsthalle--one that deals with a static presentation of the art and the other that deals with a performative presentation of the art--balance themselves around a central band of core and support.
