About the 26th FAPA 2016 congress and Rationale for Sponsorship 9-13 November, 2016 For 2016, The Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) together with the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (PAT) welcome the 26th FAPA Congress 2016 to Bangkok, Thailand! Under the theme of “Integrating Asian Pharmacy Wisdom for Better Global Health”, the congress will continually strengthening capability of Asian pharmacists to achieve professional excellence and contribute towards better health to patients.

The 26th FAPA Bangkok promise to be the most significant Asian event in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The congress will offer five days of session, symposia, discussion, field trip and social events that will bring together over 2,000 participants from diverse areas of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical science, both government and private sector, throughout Asia.

The event create an opportunity for the sponsor to strategically build network with industry colleagues and key decision makers in a cost effective way.

Audience profile The FAPA is truly Asian event for pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists as well as all partners involved in organising the congress expect to attract more than 2,000 Asian pharmacists covering all professionals from hospital and community pharmacy, industry and academia as well as pharmacy students, recent graduates and related sectors across Asia.

About FAPA Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Association also known as FAPA was established in 1964.

Its headquarters is based in Manila, Philippines. The first General Assembly was held in April, 1964 in Manila, Philippines with Professor Jose P.B Gallardo as the first elected president and Dr.Patrocio Valenzuela as the secretary general. Founding member countries were the Pharmaceutical Society of Hong Kong, Japan Pharmaceutical Association, Pakistan Pharmacists Association, Philippine, Pharmaceutical Association and Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage.

Welcome reception:

The venue for the welcome reception will be at the reception area. The signage of your organisation name/logo will be prominently displayed throughout the reception and it will be mentioned in the final programme.

Thumb drive :

In contributing to the environment preservation and a memorable gift to all participants, all the programs, speakers’ presentation and abstract will be saved into 8-Gig thumb drive. Your organization name &logo will beimprinted on the thumb drive served as a reminder for key scientific support. The sponsor include production cost.

Lanyards :

The sponsor’s name and logo can be printed on the lanyards which isthe identification for all participants to attend all scientific sessions and pre-congress field visit.

The exclusive opportunity for your organisation to provide special knowledge or specific topic in the meeting with lunch served.

Coffee break :

Coffee and tea break will be served at morning and afternoonin the foyers of BITEC congress area. Sponsor recognition will be by signage as well as the final programme.

Opening Ceremony :

The opening ceremony will include spectacular entertainment pieces specially arranged for all participants. The sponsor will be acknowledged during the course of the opening ceremony and will be mentioned in the final programme.
