Client Samsung Event 2004 Olympic Torch Relay Assignment Design a series of postcards to inform the public regarding the route the Olympic Torch would take in various cities. Concept To convey the Olympic Torch route by indicating landmarks rather than providing a literal map, thus giving the reader a quick-glance reference for where the best viewing opportunities are. Responsibilities Layout and design of postcard, illustration of the various landmarks and working with print vendor through final production.

Client Personal Project Project To create a series of music CDs intended to convey a pattern of growth and change throughout the course of one year. Concept Musical content, colors and symbolism reflect a particular frame of mind from one disk to the other. Personalized letters to the recipient illustrate the intention of the gift. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design, layout and in-house production of CD packaging utilizing color laser printer on card stock and vellum.

Client Chrysler Corporate Event 2011 Family Day Assignment Create a circus themed logo for the internal corporate sponsored event. Concept To address the clients desire for a circus themed event while retaining a level of sophistication that is consistent with the brand. Responsibilities Conceptualization, logo development along with integration into various print materials such as tickets, handouts and lanyards.

Client Patterson Advisors Project Promotional Brochure Assignment To produce a printed piece that would persuade potential clients into meeting with Patterson Advisors while providing an overview of the services offered. Concept To highlight quotes that evoke longevity and long-term planning, thus creating a reflective frame of mind in the reader. This helped to distinguish Patterson Advisors by creating a more personal approach to financial planning. Responsibilities Worked closely with client during conceptualization. Responsible for brochure concept, design, layout and production files as well as seeing project to completion with oustside print vendor.

Client Delphi Automotive Systems Project 1998 Trade Show Invite Assignment Develop printed invitation intended to gather people for a staged product demonstration. Concept To create a tasteful and elegant invitation that elevates the Delphi brand and presenter from the other stereotypical dry, technical trade show presentations. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout of card stock invitation with vellum overlay.

Client Toyota Event 2003 Los Angeles Auto Show Assignment Create a printed piece to be given out to the press and public informing them of the Toyota i-Unit concept vehicle. Concept To expand upon the client motto of “Moving Forward� while still communicating the numerous aspects of the i-Unit product. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout of double sided hand out on glossy stock.

Client Scion Event 2003 North American International Auto Show Presentation Book Assignment To create a brief overview of the proposed Auto Show space. Concept To compose a layout that reinforces the shape and form of the exhibit space while retaining cues of Scion’s youth orientated market. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout of in house produced presentation book.

Client Personal Project Assignment Wedding Invitation & Event Collateral Concept To design and coordinate a series of printed pieces that highlight the city of Detroit and Belle Isle, the reception location. This was intended to give out of town guests a window into the historic nature of the city and it’s architecture. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design, layout and in house production of all printed material via laser printer. Coordination of all wedding decor and settings to as to create a consistent style and feel to the overall event.

Concept To create a user friendly template and cover slide that celebrates the location of the conference. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout of file for marketing team to populate with content.

Client Chicago Biodiesel Assignment To design a logo for the startup alternative fuel company Concept To create an identity that showcased the green aspect of biodiesel while retaining the a masculine aesthetic associated with automotive purists. Client Personal Project Event 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise Concept To create a visual identity and style that speaks to a distinct era/generation of vintage auto enthusiasts. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout of high quality ink jet posters.

Client Personal Project Project To create a set of fine art pieces utilizing photography taken at a vintage tractor show. Concept Twisting and manipulating the images of obsololete machines creates new forms that are both famililiar and novel. Responsibilities Black and white film photography and Photoshop manipulation. Production of hi-res prints via Lambda printer on metallic paper.

Client Scion Event 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show Assignment To design unique, interactive color and trim display for auto show use Concept A hands-on tactile interactive experience illustrates the various color and trim options for the three Scion products. Responsibilities Worked with 3-D designer to execute turn wheel interactive display. Conceptualization, design, layout and hi-res production of graphics. Materials include c-print mounted to acrylic and sintra.

Client Jeep速 Event 2010 Rocks & Road Ride and Drive Event Assignment To provide environmental graphics based off the agency provided logo. Pieces included directional signage, tent graphics and branded murals for the travelling ride and drive. Responsibilities Design and layout of large format graphics, including product image selection, creation of color palette, type and background. Managed in house production of all vinyl banners and hi-quality ink jet printing via press checks and materials review.

Client Toyota Event 2005 North American International Auto Show Assignment To tell the story of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive technology within it’s own boutique space at the auto show. Concept Various features of the HSD technology are conveyed by equating them to tangible objects inside a ring of mounted shadow boxes. The mural provides an energetic backdrop the encompasses the space. Responsibilities Worked with 3-D designer to compose and execute back wall graphic and multi layered shadow box displays. Responsible all graphic design, layout and hi-res production. Techniques include VUTEk fabric printing, c-print, duraclear and various vinyl appliques applied to clear acrylic.

Client Dodge Event 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show Assignment To re-interpret the Dodge brand so as to appeal to the west coast market, an area where sales had previously been lagging. Concept The visual presence of the Dodge is skewed younger and more urban by utilizing an edgy illustrative style and new design aesthetic that deviates from the visuals associated elsewhere by the brand. Responsibilities Conceptualization, design and layout, hi-res production of dye sub pillow cased fabric graphics. Interfaced with freelance illustrator to create a library of background shapes to use in composition. Oversaw in house production of all graphic materials via press checks and materials review.

Client Jeep® Event 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show Assignment To create a distinct visual style for Jeep® that is specific to west coast area Concept To convey the “go anywhere” spirit of Jeep® within the context of the Chrysler Group illustrated brand style created for the Los Angeles Auto Show. Responsibilities Partnered with another designer during conceptualization. Followed through with design, layout and hi-res production of dye sub pillow cased fabric graphics. Concept To use the iconic Dodge grill to express the larger than life nature of the product as well as create a visual beacon for the Dodge brand that would be easily identifiable from across the convention center. Concept Bold direct statements and patriotic colors drive home to dealers that much of the Toyota manufacturing culture is American by nature. Client Jeep速 Event 2010 North American International Auto Show Assignment To design a large format back-lit graphic and ceiling treatment while communicating the current brand campaign. Concept Elements from the current campaign were composited with newly acquired assets to convey a individual visual narrative that is summarized by a branded statement. Responsibilities Design and layout of large format vinyl graphics and ceiling spray mask paint treatment. This includes aquiring current campaign assets from the agency, product image selection, creation of color palette, and final image composition. Oversaw in house production of all graphic materials. Instrumental in prototype phase of backlit vinyl technique.

Concept The location and nature of the gallery and it’s events higlight the exclusivity and unique personality of the FIAT brand. Responsibilities Design of outdoor sign and vehcile branding. Production manager on all interior space graphics. coordinating with the ad agency regarding file size, format, output method, material and quality control.
