WRESTLING sophomore Callahan Eckhardt achieved seventh place finishes in both the 200 and 500 freestyle races. “I think the state meet went just about perfectly. We all dropped a considerable amount of time and most of us made it to the finals, Eckhardt said. Both swimmers were selected to the All-State second team. Photo by Miranda Snyder
Despite a delayed tournament schedule in Wichita due to inclement weather on Saturday, Feb. 23, two wrestlers brought home state medals. Junior Jake Ellis finished with his first state medal in third place and junior Landon Scott (left) finished in fifth place and became the first threetime state medalist in school history.

It was overall just a fantastic tournament,” Ellis said.
The boys bowling team, including senior LJ Hatch (left), finished its second season Friday, Feb. 8 with a trip to state in Wichita, taking eighth place as a team. Senior Nick Ridgeway finished in 13th. Head coach Adam Wessel was happy with the highest finish in school history. Photo by Kelsey Floyd
