SUBMISSION FOR XAMAYCA KEY

PROJECT REPORT ON THE MONTHLY COMMUNITTY SERVICE PROJECT DONE WITH THE KIWANIS CLUB OF KINGSTON We arrived at the project at 11 a.m. with transportation provided by the Kiwanis club of Kingston. Upon arrival, we assisted DLG Gerthlyn Holman to serve drinks too the residents who were seated outside of their Dorms. Those who were unable sit outside, were given assistance by the Caregivers. The key clubbers also helped cutting up cake and sharing it out. The members of the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston, led by President Andrea Moore, expressed sincere appreciation to the members of the Mona High Key Club and our parent, Ms. Levermore as well as to our Faculty Advisor, Mr. Samuels, for the tremendous support given to the service project. After the commendation and blessing, the Key Clubbers and their Kiwanian counterparts had a good time of fellowship in dancing and singing as the cleaning up exercise was carried out. The Key Clubbers with the help of the Caregivers distributed over 8 boxes of Excelsior Water Crackers to the residents. These were provided by Excelsior Biscuit Company. Many thanks to the invitation extended by DLG Gerthlyn to include our Key Clubbers into the project. Special thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Liguanea for providing transportation to and from the Project. Over 23 Kiwanians were present from the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston. The project ended at 3 p.m. Members participating: Chairman Howard Bingham, Chairman Daniel Levermore, President Chris-Lionel Williams, Chairman Gevon Logan, Chairman Candace Townsend, and Chairman Renee Sutherland. Some 120 residents at the Cluster C Golden Age Home benefitted from this project.
