The Government is ever more focussed on the application of IR35 as highlighted by the recent and ongoing cases at the BBC. We2 is a UK based company. We are not offshore. We do not provide tax structuring. We2 is designed to help you be the best professional you can be, with the flexibility you want, and not to have to worry about these kinds of issues. How does it work? We2 provides a simple, flexible, non restrictive employment contract that YOU CONTROL which eradicates the IR35 tax exposure that comes with many one director limited company scenario’s. Once you are on board, we will help you with the little things which take up your time and eat into you earnings, which will leave you with more time to maximise your focus on your business. Great ..so what does it cost? Compare the outcomes for John, Mary and Jack who each earn £250,000 per annum. John pays himself a £100,000 salary and takes the rest in dividends. His take home after all ‘paid’ taxes is £139,109. John retains an IR 35 risk (before penalties) of £14,459 per annum. John spends 1 a day a month on VAT returns and other non productive administration. He does not have any group rate benefits. John uses up to £29,522 more than Jack of his post tax income on work, personal and fun related benefits and necessities. Mary pays herself a £12,000 salary a year and takes the rest in dividends. Since the last budget, the advantage of taking this ‘small’ salary has been largely eradicated, but the IR35 risk has not. Mary’s take home after all ‘paid’ taxes is £141,702. Mary retains an annual IR35 risk (before penalties) of £27,145. Mary also spends 1 a day a month on VAT returns and other non productive administration. She does not have any group rate benefits. Mary uses up to £29,522 more than Jack of his post tax income on work, personal and fun related benefits and necessities. Jack joined We2. While at first glance Jack’s after ‘all taxes’ income is lower than John’s and Mary’s at £122,403. He has NO IR35 risk. He also benefits from all the We2 features which saves him up to £29,522 a year compared to John and Mary. He has no monthly administration to do on VAT etc, so he can devote this additional free time to earning an extra £12,000 a year (based on his daily rate). (So actually his gross income could be £262,000+ with the same amount of free time as Mary and John). After all his benefits and necessities are taken care of, Jack has a lot more ‘spare liquidity’ than John or Mary. •
When his child has a scary rash and a high temperature appear on Saturday evening, Jack can have a GP attend to his child within an hour or two using his VDoc membership.

PRIVATE MEDICAL We2 Notes on Private Medical
We2 have arranged via Mercer a group Private Medical policy with BUPA. While the circumstance of every individual and their families are different, it is estimated that employees, depending on their circumstances will enjoy a discount ranging between 15% and 40% versus the cost of the same policy purchased as an individual. The quoted pricing is an estimate based on the expected broad profile of the employee cohort. Final pricing will be confirmed once the cohort reaches an initial 21 employees. As the cohort increases, pricing will continue to improve. Participation in the Company medical plan is optional. The individual subscription will be subtracted from your remuneration. Employees may choose to extend cover to their partner and family at additional (Group Rate) cost (see table below)

We2 have arranged via Mercer a group Life Assurance Plan with UNUM . While the circumstance of every individual and their families are different, it is estimated that employees, depending on their circumstances will enjoy a discount ranging between 20 - 40% versus the cost of the same policy purchased as an individual.
