This scarf reminds me of simple times, high top sneakers, and slouch socks!

Supplies: ½ Yard of Fleece (because it doesn’t fray) Sewing Machine Thread Scissors Ruler Pins Rotary Cutter (Optional)

Directions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

6. 7.

Cut the fleece. Piece A: 2 pieces that are 2” x 60” (the width of the fabric). Piece B: 2 pieces 6” x 60”. Take all Piece Bs and cut into 1” strips (See pic & digram A). Take one Piece A and fold in half widthwise. Then insert the 1” strips into the fold (this will act like a binding) and pin in place. Start sewing the strips into the binding inserting more 1” strips as you go along all the way to the end of the fabric (B).I used a zigzag stitch to allow the fabric to give a stretch as fleece likes to do (C). Now we will work on the other edge. Take each 1” strip and twist it over and insert it into the binding and pin in place (D). Then seem the side just like before (E).
