We are operated for and by youths, and our vision is “peace and fulfilment of humankind’s potential”. In a world where we face many different global challenges, we believe the common solution is to develop responsible and entrepreneurial young leaders today who will choose how the world will be like tomorrow. The way we do this is unlike anyone else in the world. Since 1948, we have provided practical leadership experiences by living and delivering international exchange programs that empower individuals, communities and organisations. With 67 years of experience, AIESEC is committed to creating change agents that will make a positive impact on society.

Without sounding co Without sounding corny, I was completely blown away by how Indonesian people lived such a minimalist lifestyle with very little but seemed to be so grateful and happy with everything they had. I had many conversations of people telling me that they didn’t mind what their income was, as they felt blessed to have such a beautiful family and wonderful friends and I found this really encouraging. After being raised in a society telling us that we constantly need more, I haven’t come across many people who are this at peace in their lives and I will never forget their stories. What do you think makes AIESEC’s Global Talent program different from other internships?

The support, for sure. I got to the airport there and immediately I was calling my manager there for help. As soon as I got to the house, there was a small meet-and-greet organised, where I met a lot of AIESECers, other exchange participants and a lot of other university students who would later become my good friends. Right off the bat, it made me feel so comforted and a lot less anxious, because I was already getting to know new people and making new friends. Because of the local AIESEC, through the various activities they organised or just by introducing me to their friends, I met so many lovely people and made so many amazing new friends. I was so well taken care of.
TESTIMONIALS
‘In the two months that I’ve been here I’ve had some incredible teaching moments […] I can’t pinpoint one single [favourite] moment but when the students are running crazy around the playground but they spot you in the corner of their eye, and they stop, just run to hug you and tell you how much you mean to them, that is pretty amazing. I I really think this exchange will impact my future for the best, not only professionally but personally too. One of the many reasons I chose to come on an exchange with AIESEC was that, a yearlong internship provides a platform for me to build a strong and stable career in years to come. Over the year I hope to hone skills that I’ve learnt in my studies but also to mature on a personal level so that in a corporate or professional career I am really able to bring something different and special to the workplace.’ Emma Johnman AIESEC Education Intern in Brazil ‘My internship experience in Leipzig, Germany was mindblowing. It was both my first time doing a career-focused internship and my first time living abroad. The IT firm where I did web development for 6 months was accommodating to the challenges I faced and genuinely glad to have me on board. I was doing valuable work at my first job! The people at my host AIESEC chapter made me feel at home, teaching me daily life and helping me through the shock of new cultural norms. I highly recommend this experience for both the physical and mental journeys you will go on.’ this experience for both the physical and mental jou Dan L. AIESEC IT Intern in Germany
TESTIMONIALS ‘My time in AIESEC brought tremendous growth for me, and through it I saw how so many of our problems and challenges, as well as our blessings and strengths, are universal for people around the globe. It is a social fellowship, one of purpose and vision, and proof of its sustained value can be found in the fact that the first class 50 years ago had less than 100 students enrolled in it […] I will always be grateful for what I learned both through the people who ran the programs and my peers in them.’ Secretary of State John Kerry AIESEC intern to Switzerland through AIESEC Yale, Yale Class of 1966 ‘In our experience, AIESEC students possess exactly the qualities we are looking for: international and intercultural awareness, integrity, intuition and communication skills. We are always happy to have talented, committed and open-minded AIESEC students on internships with us and to share their spirit which enriches the corporate culture tremendously’. Peter Wuffli Group CEO, UBS ‘At Present, PwC’s partnership with AIESEC involves over 50 territories and is constantly proving successful. Leading on your business means being able to foster positive change by managing complex situations on a global scale. In order to achieve this we need to be able to reach a high level of understanding of the complexity of the external environment and succeed in operating out of the normal comfort zone. For this we need young people and AIESEC unites a global network of talented and innovative, young people who strive to make a positive contribution to the world celebrating cultural diversity, leadership and teamwork […] I am honoured to endorse AIESEC’s vision of peace and fulfilment of mankind’s potential’ Sam DiPiazza CEO, PricewaterhouseCoopers Global
