Denver International Airport - Concourse A and B West Design-Build | SD DD CD CA | 1,568,000 SF | $1.5 Billion

For this expansion project of concourse A and B, HNTB is providing terminal and airside planning, architectural and structural design, and construction management services. The expansion includes 12 new gates complete with 5 international swing gates that build off both a renovated section of the existing concourse and new construction to the west. Responsibilities: Schematic design floor plans based on the requirements from the program validation report, coordination of lighting design, production of construction documents, and construction administration including the coordination of conformed sets and answering of RFI’s and submittals

Orlando International Airport - South Terminal Complex Design-Bid Build | CD CA | 1,568,000 SF | $2.8 Billion

HNTB is the architect of record for phase 1 of the South Terminal Complex at MCO. The program includes a greenfield 16-gate international terminal, ground transportation facility, parking garage, and other ancillary buildings. All 16 gates are swing gates, capable of both domestic and international arrivals. The design of the terminal includes a large concessions atrium, an elevated international arrival corridor and integrated multimedia, all to enhance the passenger experience. Responsibilities: Life safety coordination, holdroom layouts, construction documentation, RFI response, and the production of renderings and animations 6

HNTB was tasked to provide architectural and landscape architectural services to provide a temporary auxiliary curb within an existing parking lot at LAX. The auxiliary curbs provide a pedestrian plaza, bus dropoff and ride share/taxi pick-up aisles for travelers leaving the airport. The project included the design of three modular units to provide a break area for staff and public restrooms; as well as site furnishings to provide an enhanced and unique experience as travelers arrive in LA and depart via ground transportation.
