1. Company Introduction
RST Rostock System-Technik GmbH has been a trusted Partner of the Aerospace Industry for decades. RST delivers multidisciplinary engineering services, as well as systems and products for national and international programs within aviation, space and industrial markets. Our Cabin Engineering and Simulator Center of Competence is headquartered in Rostock/WarnemĂźnde right by the Baltic Sea. The headquarter accommodates development facilities for Mechanical-, Electrical,- and Software product development where in total 150 engineers are working on different aviation, space or industrial programs. All activities for Cabin Interior development are carried out in certified pool-rooms with direct IT connection to major Aviation primes. Besides the development areas, the headquarter building also provides an electromechanical production shop, chemical and electronic laboratories and a wire harness production line for series production of aircraft door harnesses. Cabin Simulators and Training Equipment are assembled and tested in our integration hall close to the headquarter. As certified E2S Tier 1 Supplier for Airbus, we additionally operate out of design offices located at Airbus premises in Hamburg and Bremen.

For the commercial airline market we design, manufacture, service and upgrade all kinds of cabin training devices, such as Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers, Door Trainers, Cabin Service Trainers and all other individual Crew Safety Training Equipment. With our knowledge and expertise we are supporting you with the most reliable cabin training solutions based on modular and scalable design. RST training solutions will facilitate cost-efficient and realistic training operations, fulfilling the needs of instructors, students and operators. Door Trainer
Door Trainers based on modular design, offering maximum training potential to our customers. RST offers all Airbus and Boeing Door Trainers from basic to extended door trainer design integrating all door types of the aircraft, such as Main Entry Door, Over Wing Exit and Emergency Exit Door. RST doors can be original aircraft doors being specially modified for training purposes, or replicated doors according to the aircraft manufacturer’s data package. For all door trainers we offer latest engineering and software solutions. To enable a highly-realistic training, the door trainer offers a variety of predefined malfunctions, a visual and sound system as well as a virtual slide system or a real training slide.

Cabin Service Trainer
RST offers high class service trainers to perform your training class in the most realistic environment. Therefore our cabin service trainer simulates the full range of interior elements and equipment providing a realistic environment for cabin crew service training. Cabin equipment galleys, overhead bins and stowage areas are included as fully operational replicas. Simulated handsets give full passenger announcement and interphone functionality at each attendant station. Inflight entertainment systems can be fitted into cabin, and a range of optical and acoustical simulation elements is possible. RST provides cabin service trainers for all Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. We are ready to help you determining and optimizing your service training needs.
Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers are designed for a unique procedure training simulating all kinds of possibly emergency situations. Goal of this training is to let the crew experience themselves how to handle emergency situations. Most realistic flight phases are being simulated by taxing, take-off, cruise, landing, different emergency situations such as rapid decompression or fire and smoke, crash-landing, ditching, slide deflation. This environment can be realized by a motion and sound system, passenger window and door visual system, communication system, fire and smoke simulation. All features are designed according to the customers’ building requirements. Training your onsite staff, such as instructors and maintenance team, is included in our package.
Cabin Simulator Upgrades
For our long term customers operating Eurocopter Simulators, as well as others, including all future customers, we offer to refurbish and upgrade your cabin simulators. The RST upgrade service shall be customized to the customer requirements and needs. It may include a motion system upgrade, an update of the communication system and/or visual and sound system, doors and slide refurbishment, the adding of a virtual slide system, and/or the exchange of the training slides.
