Louis Grandison aka Dexta Daps is a Jamaican reggae singer known for his dancehall songs as well as ballads. Daps grew up in the West Kingston, Jamaica neighborhood of Seaview Gardens, a neighborhood known for crime and poverty as well as for its tight community and as the home of Jamaican reggae stars Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer, and Elephant Man among others. His songs include the 2014 ballad Morning Love, 2015's 7Eleven and the 2017 song Shabba Madda Pot. Following up on his singles, he launched his debut album Intro in 2017 with an erotic short film that received more than 1.6 million views on YouTube.

There is no I in we; remember to use us, us and ours. 5. Meetings Make sure it has a purpose and agenda or else there will be no incentive to attend the future ones. 6. ila Ike, who is a member of Protoje’s new wave of artists, has shot to stardom in the past year with releases such as “Biggest Fan “and “Second Chance. Lila’s enchanting voice seems almost tailor made for success with the feel of old school reggae acts like Marcia Griffiths and Judie Mowatt. She has been featured on a track with Protoje, and Agent Sasco called “Not Another Word” just recently which is also doing well on the local scene. The straight-shooting, free-spirited, yet easy-going singer belts soulful tunes with a velvety smooth voice. Born and raised in the cool hills of Manchester, Ike attended the Manchester High School where her love for music truly started to form. She’s cites influencers from a wide range of genres- from pop to lover’s rock to rhythm and blues. Lila even goes as far as to describe herself as an ‘old soul’- often channeling the soulful sounds of influencers like Garnet Silk, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys.

Traditional Jamaican hot chocolate drink made from natural unprocessed cocoa beans that are sun dried, roasted over a wood fire. It is then pounded in a mortar, molded in small balls and dried for later use. From start to finish, here is the process of making chocolate tea the old fashion Jamaican way. Traditional Hot Country Chocolate ž cup grated country-style chocolate 3 cinnamons leaves 6 cups water 1/3 teaspoon salt 1/3 grated nutmeg 2/3 cup condensed milk Place grated chocolate and cinnamon leaves in a thick- bottomed pan with the water. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes. Pour through a fine strainer. Add salt, nutmeg and condensed milk. Reheat and served hot. Serves 6 13
