James McArdle

James McArdle investigates perceptual and metaphoric uses of focal effects and differences between human and camera vision. He employs multiple and overlapping, converging viewpoints to create a moire depth contour; and rotational motion perspectives as seen by a moving observer. These research findings are the subject of international exhibitions and publications. He is Associate Professor in the Image, Deakin University.
